2021/22 Frank Lampard

If it meant staying up I'm sure most of us would accept it and give him time this time around.

I've convinced myself now that Moshiri will sack Lampard. Rumour is he's flying into England now. If its not before United then after but I think it'll be before and maybe Dunc takes the United and Chelsea games at home.

Lampards replacement be it Sam or someone else only needs to win these games below. Pick up a few draws and points elsewhere then great these 3 matter most and they're winnable. That'll be Moshiri and the DoFs thought process too imo.

Mate we're abysmal. I'm sorry, hate to sound negative but we've only got 9 games, the idea that we're gonna win these 3 games on the bounce and also "pick up a few points elsewhere" is a pure fantasy at this stage

Hope that it works and we force them out of the club. If it doesn't then we need more of the same from next season. If it does then we back the new administration in their efforts to save the club from the oblivion that the current set up is driving us towards.
Not an appealing investment for potential buyers though. I'm sure Moshiri will want half a billion quid back on top of the clubs value. That kind of money isn't easy to come by. So, potentially 3/4 of a billion quid for a terrible PL side with a squad full of mercenaries, or a Championship side with a squad full of mercenaries. I get that there is a nice shiny stadium on the horizon, but that'll need paying for too.

Lampard doing a very good impression of mike walker. No interest at all in the defensive part of the game. Its ok saying we created chances but if the ball doesnt go in their net we are open to counter attack. 2 goals last night and 1 at west ham. No thought just everyone bombing forward.Needs to jib the 5 a sides off and put some hours in on how to be organised with and without the ball and how to defend set pieces. The results should be enough now to show him his philosophy doesnt work with these players. Get safe and you can bring players in who suit your way of playing.

Yeah I agree, I blame the fans too.

I can't believe the fans sold our 2 most creative players from a team devoid of creative output.

I can't believe the fans have made 9 errors directly leading to goals this year.

I can't believe the fans gutted the club of half of its staff including the scouting and medical team.

I can't believe the fans have had 3 red cards in the last 4 Premier league games.

And I, sat in the top balcony at Goodison, should definitely have more courage on the ball and not be a spineless shitbag who's terrified of doing the job they're paid millions a year to do.

The fans are the reason they even have a chance of staying up. We have one of the best away supports in the league. Those lovable maniacs sell out every away end on any day and haven't seen a win since August on the road.

The home fans are a weapon of hostility that these players don't know how to use. We don't ask for much, work hard and be brave. A lack of technical quality is forgivable, shying away isnt.

I'm so sick of seeing anyone call out the fans for how this club is run.

They're the absolute last ones to blame.
Well said Sir.

None of this is on the Fans.

I think he is great but I believe a more experienced manager would’ve got us at least the draw yesterday and at least a draw against West Ham. His in game management is poor but there’s no excuse for those spineless players to keep underperforming. We must beat Man United.

Leave everything on the [Poor language removed] pitch.

Moshiri should have had the courage to appoint Pereira rather than go through the BS interview process. He met him 2/3 times FFS. He should have just appointed him.

He's a coward of a man. Bending to the will of a fanbase that long ago left rationality behind.
If he thought he was the best candidate available, then he should have appointed him, yes. But he doesn't belong in a discussion about viable PL managerial candidates.

Dyche wants to survive. He will take a .00001 percent advantage in the race.

What had me scratching my head was why do you need to tell the players at half time that Everton don't really win. Would have thought it was evident in thier weeks preparations. Or if they watched MOTD. Almost sounds like a crap team HT team talk when you think about it.

He saw the sky mic and sent out the message. He wouldn't disrespect Everton like that if they were 10th and we were where we are.
It is a weird one for sure, almost like Footballers dont watch Football ?

Pereira ruined his own chances of getting the job with that ludicrous interview live on sky. Even Moshiri isn't stupid enough to appoint someone who goes on sky talking about a live recruitment process

Well everybody is blaming the players.

Heres how the players performed last time against Burnley.

But how did we get on the last time we played Burnley away with fans in the stadium? Hint: it wasn’t the 5-1.

Probably but the business owners aren't going to just say "right lads let's just give up and accept our fate." those wins are possible, unlikely but possible and there's still 3 teams below us in the same position. That's why I think Moshiri will pull the trigger
