If he did say it. He wouldn't have said it to sky.

Its bad taste to talk in your post match victory and say 'ye told the lads these just can't win games'... how bad taste would that be if burnely was 10th and we were fighting for survival. It was a mind game. And fareplay.

Cause I think Dyche is a nice guy. But willing to do that for Burnley.
Dyche is a football manager who's team is in a battle with Everton.
If he thinks it gives his team a sporting advantage to slag off our team ( and say something that we all know to be true) then good luck to him.
However if you are Dyche be careful what you wish for amigo.
Crap and spineless as our lot are if those comments don't motivate you then you should not be a professional footballer.

Yeah I agree, I blame the fans too.

I can't believe the fans sold our 2 most creative players from a team devoid of creative output.

I can't believe the fans have made 9 errors directly leading to goals this year.

I can't believe the fans gutted the club of half of its staff including the scouting and medical team.

I can't believe the fans have had 3 red cards in the last 4 Premier league games.

And I, sat in the top balcony at Goodison, should definitely have more courage on the ball and not be a spineless shitbag who's terrified of doing the job they're paid millions a year to do.

The fans are the reason they even have a chance of staying up. We have one of the best away supports in the league. Those lovable maniacs sell out every away end on any day and haven't seen a win since August on the road.

The home fans are a weapon of hostility that these players don't know how to use. We don't ask for much, work hard and be brave. A lack of technical quality is forgivable, shying away isnt.

I'm so sick of seeing anyone call out the fans for how this club is run.

They're the absolute last ones to blame.
Great post mate.

Show me where I said I didn't want Pereira...

Please leave out the Sam shouts. We've been there done that, added dross to the side, and gone backwards

Give it a rest. Constantly banging out about Allardyce doesn't make you intelligent about football

Because people don't know of a manager around of that type anymore so just throw his name in.

Fact is...if Lampard goes it'll be one of Dunc, Clement, or Nuno.

Fair enough, I didn't know. Hard to keep track amidst such misery!

Pereira and Everton would've been a genuinely insane combination. I don't think this ever actually did the rounds on Everton twitter - fair enough, because it happened in Greece and didnt get much traction here. But anyway, this is Pereira managing Olympiakos and taking them away to Panathinaikos, in a derby locally known as 'The Derby of the Eternal Enemies'. Specifically, this is Pereira going up to the part of the home end where the Greek ultras are and actively antagonising them. Imagine that!

Also, here's some choice words as to how Corinthians are doing under Mr Pereira, having been bounced 2-0 by the Bolivian club Always Ready in the Copa Libertadores (a bit like when that Moldovan side beat Madrid this season):

Is that by clapping him and supporting him; a small minority like myself wanted nothing to do with him

But don’t change history to suit an agenda, you look like a tit

Changing history in what way?

Benitez was threatened. He took abuse at the match. You can't say those didn't want him here just stayed silent.

Whilst Benitez was clearly a qualified and experienced manager, he was never going to be accepted by a large portion of the fans. Moshiri should have known this. His appointment was not conducive to positivity and the club pulling in the same direction. Whether you blame Moshiri, the supporters or both, this is part of the reason for the negative atmosphere around the club and the results on the pitch (note I said part of the reason, not all of it!). Things could not continue.

When it came to Lampard, the fans called for that one. It was spraypainted on Goodison. Moshiri clearly felt the fans needed to be on board after Benitez and bowed to the wishes of the fans.

What is changing history about that?

They can motivate. Or they can be a wumming device. Alex Ferguson often betted on the latter so did Dyche there. Lets see how Frank and the lions react.
