Lampard is playing high risk, high reward football though. Do that with players who are low on confidence, and you are asking for trouble. High risk means playing a high line and looking to pass it out from the means greatly increases the chances of your side making mistakes. High reward only works if you have players who are confident in front of goal and who are ruthless.the players keep making mistakes
they need to sort it out they goons
West Brom had 7 points from 13 games when Allardyce took over. They would have needed 40 points to stay up. So they would have needed to triple their PPG and hit Europa League form to have stayed up.West Brom were six points from safety when Allardyce was appointed; I forget exactly when, but I believe it was before the half way point. He had no interest in Everton when he was our manager and I doubt if Alex Ferguson at his peak could make the shower of weaklings and mercenaries currently disgracing our club look like a proper team.
Can you point where I said that please mate

He was, so please stop lyingHe did get a clap from most supporters in his first game, yes. That doesn't mean he was universally welcomed or that he was given full backing.
You only need to look on here to see the personal and sometimes xenophobic abuse he gets from people who say he should never have been here in the first place and that this was plain for all to see before his appointment.
It was apparent to everyone he wasn't universally welcomed at the time. I think it's you that seems to be trying to change history.
That’s it really. Most of them won’t be relegated at all as they will move to another lower Premier League team as soon as the window opens.Honestly, I'm not sure how many of our players will be bothered if we go down - would they actually feel the weight of shame? Would it be a meek show?
I remember getting relegated as a Saturday league player and we were crestfallen - fluffin' embarrassed. These lot will blame someone else or just move on.
You’re all over the gaff here fella, and a massive lair to boot.Sorry, I don't know how to quote these things in a proper format but here you go...

We’ve just had 2 pragmatic managers, yes Ancelotti started well,Lampard is playing high risk, high reward football though. Do that with players who are low on confidence, and you are asking for trouble. High risk means playing a high line and looking to pass it out from the means greatly increases the chances of your side making mistakes. High reward only works if you have players who are confident in front of goal and who are ruthless.
We need a Coach who will organise us at the back and play percentage football. We need a pragmatic approach, not a dreamer who thinks he can turn Keane and Kenny into the next Baresi and Maldini.
Lampard is trying to play champagne football with lemonade players.
I’d guess 75% would still be behind him. 45% probably fully behind. 30% probably don’t want another change as that keeps getting us nowhere. And we need to change itSo who thinks he should go? Saw dailyfail with a few stories so wondered if it was a fair reflection or my fault for reading trash?
So I do not rule out that it was right to dismiss Benitez, but I'm pretty sure we would have had a better chance of surviving with him as manager than Lampard.
I think we have average players who think they are stars, and that's where I think a lot of the problem lies. They are not willing to learn, or sacrifice for the team (Digne).
I maintain that with Digne in the squad we would have picked up a couple of extra wins and would be nowhere near relegation.Agree with what you are saying broadly but its all if's but's and maybe's if Benitez was still here. There is a very good chance that irrespective of whomever was manager the nosedive in form Oct - Jan might have been too steep to recover from.
We absolutely have average players, some not even that and their ability and ego are not aligned. Think in Digne's case he was good enough but wasn't prepared to sacrifice for the team, but maybe not so easy to sacrifice when the results don't match the intention. A pity how it played out really because we would have been better off with him in the team over the last couple of months.
You’re all over the gaff here fella, and a massive lair to boot.
I’ve said that me and a small minority didn’t want him, you said that wasn’t true and everyone didn’t want him - which is lie.
The count is at 10 mert, your legs are gone - stay on the canvas
Very very unlikely , he was playing at about Kennys level this season, no way would his game improved as the fight got tougher just like Dom’s hasn’t.I maintain that with Digne in the squad we would have picked up a couple of extra wins and would be nowhere near relegation.
