Benitez put us in a relegation battle so that first task you say Lampard has to make sure of is nil and void.
This doesn't look good but you cant say we were in a relegation battle then, we were rubbish, but relegation battle, no, this was after his last game..
Averaging a point a game, if we stuck with that we would now be 5 ahead of Burnley with 3 teams in front catchable via games in hand.
Newcastle were deep in it then, and they changed to Howe and got out of it, we got deeper into it

Newcastle got Howe and spent 100m lol

Come on mate, we were exactly where we are now, right in the crapper.

West Ham had their eye on more important game it should have been there for the taking, and we can only muster up a massive deflection to get a goal, and still come away with nothing, then we have Burnley who basically got to around the halfway line and tossed a ball forward all game, plonked three past us, after we were awarded two penalties, still can't get a draw.

If he doesn't get a win against united he must go, I don't care if he is a belter in a press conference or gives a decent fist pump after a goal, untenable.

who is coming in and what difference will it make……. go

Nope, not even close, we are one point above Burnley with worse goal difference, back then we were 6 points above the drop line with games in hand.
It's not even comparable.

Don't forget then a lot thought we would be OK, right now many have accepted were done.

I don't agree with what your saying mate. I haven't agreed with anything you've said all season. But it's your opinion, your rightly entitled to it and I don't want to fall out with a fellow Evertonian so until the season has ended I'll pop you on ignore mate and I say that in the nicest possible way.

As much of a cowboy as Moshiri is, if we lose at the weekend would he really boot Frank AND the entire backroom staff? Frank brought in a fair few of his own people, now Mosh is going to have to pay them all off as well (unless they all choose to walk out if Lampard goes), plus Lampard's pay off, plus the cost of getting another management team in extra quickly?!

Then there's the whole, "new manager new ideas" to get into the players with a handful of games left. Lot of change, lot of unheaval, big gamble. Ya never know with Mosh, but it seems unlikely to me as this point in time.

I dunno, can we afford to? Can we afford not to? Duncan won't save us, or if he does he becomes the greatest living Everton legend
