2021/22 Frank Lampard

DCL is not a limited player. Guy has been coping with a serious injury this season, unfair to pile in on him given what he’s done for the club the past few seasons
Hasn't Eriksen come back from the dead to top form quicker than DCL has recovered from whatever toe or thigh injury he's had?!? He was good under Carlo, but how many times has our "star striker" even gotten to double figures? Doesn't even look interested any more. If Arsenal wanna pony up £40-50m for him, they can have him.

Not sack him, ask Frank to stand aside for a relegation battle specialist in Allardyce until the summer.

I think you’re wrong on Moyes also, he is Everton through and through, he’d jump at the chance to come back as he was waiting for us last summer.
I've got more chance of pishing on the sun than we have of Moyes leaving West Ham to come back here.

Frank Lampard is at Everton for barely two months, how can anybody say he is responsible for the mess we find ourselves in which has been developing for years?

If we are relegated I think he should be kept and let rebuild the club gradually, I am quite impressed by him.

Would he want to stay is another question.
I do struggle in how you are impressed by him.

Sadly there is no evidence of him being a manager that can adapt to situations and improve us

I may sound harsh here, but the impressed comment sort of made me react negatively

Since Lampard come in, we've managed 6 points from 27;

Newcastle (A) LOST 3-1
Leeds (H) WON 3-0
Southampton (A) LOST 2-0
Man City (H) LOST 1-0
Tottenham (A) LOST 5-0
Wolves (H) LOST 1-0

Newcastle (H) WON 1-0
West Ham (A) LOST 2-1
Burnley (A) LOST 3-2

We've got 27 points left to play for and need at least 10.

If we get 10, we'll be on 35 points;

In the last 5, the following total prevented relegation; 2020/21 - 29 points 2019/20 - 35 points 2018/19 - 35 points 2017/18 - 34 points 2016/17 - 35 points

More pragmatism is needed (we're crap Mr Lampard, stop going toe-to-toe with a high press away from home). More managing the game (we didnt know whether to stick or twist against Burnley) - accepting 1 away point as a tremendous result and having a plan to manage accordingly.

The worrying thing for me is, the 'free hit/pressure off' type of games are no longer that.

My prediction;

Man Utd (H) - D
Leicester (H/Night Game) - W
Liverpool (A) - L
Chelsea (H) - L
Leicester (A) - L
Watford (A) - L
Brentford (H)- W
Crystal Palace (H/Night Game) - W
Arsenal (A) - L

10 points.
