What if they cant and just not good enough.
Burnelys winner. How is any manager supposed to manage ben godfreys sunday league slice. Other than drop him, but who could he play.

It all seems just hopeless with these players. We've bought players relegated with other clubs. We've ended up with half a side who are relegation players. Is it any wonder we're getting relegated.
I know mate!

I have no words just blind faith that we can survive.

* although I do tend to post a good few words on here

praise be for GOT as an outlet

Not sack him, ask Frank to stand aside for a relegation battle specialist in Allardyce until the summer.

I think you’re wrong on Moyes also, he is Everton through and through, he’d jump at the chance to come back as he was waiting for us last summer.
Not sure Frank would take a sabatical so someone else can come in for a bit. He'd be completely undermined and painted as amateur (imagine if your boss came to you and said "you're underpeforming as store manager so we're bringing a new one in for a bit because you can't do what we need, but once the temporary guys fixes what you can't, you can have your job back. Probably.")

Moyes left Everton to take one of the biggest jobs in world football. He's "died hard bloo" nature didn't stop him then, so I doubt he'll run out on stability and European football at West Ham to come back to a club where the owner medles in transfers, the board are a shambles, players are a joke, managers get zero time, and he might not even be in the top division. The Moyes ship has long, long sailed.

Frank didn't create this mess. Benetiz should never have been left in charge for so long.(should never have been here full stop) We owe Frank nothing though if we get beat Saturday he has to go- we cant just accept relegation without 1 last gamble with another manager.(no faith in those whod be doing the appointing though)

Is he really going to turn down another pay day? At the end of the day it would be good business for him. Stay up and he’s boosted his reputation, go down and he’s gone at the end of the season anyway and gets paid.
I see your logic, but Sam doesn't need the money - if he did, he'd go manage in China or the Middle East or take a pundit gig. He's made his millions and can put his feet up with no stress in the world. His reputation doesn't need a boost if he's out the game, what does he care.

Nothing would surprise me when it comes to Everton or Moshiri, but methinks Sam would rather enjoy watching the club/guy who dismissed him, disregarded him and perhaps disrespect him come crawling back with the begging bowl only to reap what they sow as he laughs his head off. That's worth more than a few more mil to him, surely.

How many times do people need to say James Rodriguez didn’t want to play for Everton anymore? The guy wasn’t even our best player last year so I find this worship of him just because he’s a big name weird
Because we are a squad completely bereft of talent. Only James and Digne created any attacking chances and provided any creativity. And the kopite chancer saw fit to punt both out our squad without replacements.

Ancelotti could see how limited our squad was, so set us up in a way that lacked effective patterns of play. But he gave us a solid base and used our creative players to make the chances. It was frustrating to watch, but what has happened this season shows how good a job he actually did.

If you can't understand the James worship, tell me which players in this squad you believe are genuinely good footballers.

It’s all in how Lampard is approached with the idea. If you say to him “Frank, you’re one of the best young managers in Europe at the moment and we want you here for the long term vision of the club, but for the clubs future we need someone with relegation battle experience for a few weeks” I’m sure he’d take a back seat

DCL, Richy, Gordon, Alli, VDB, Gomes, Doucoure, Allan and Gray didn’t just become terrible footballers overnight. For various reasons they just aren’t performing to their usual standards the past few months

I’m not seeing this growing feeling of wanting him sacked , where is all this coming from and I thought it was a bit odd from Myers, he also asked if the fans could be panicking.

Myers tends to only report facts about 3 hours after the facts have been confirmed, and then tries to pass the news off as his own so it's not very 'him', maybe there is something going on

In any other field of business, a failing manager would be sacked, doesn't matter how short a time they have been there. Lampard unfortunately has not shown anything to suggest he is the man to take us forward, even if by a miracle he keeps us up which looks very unlikely. Its a shame because I actually like him and the enthusiasm he has shown for a club he has no affinity to but business is business
