Rooney is a derby legend, look at their forums. Lampard was part of their poison. Bought players on high wages. And was - as usual. - mates with horrible people.

he is a dirty Tory.
He made 1mil on transfer at derby. Basically he loaned a few youngsters. He also lost Vydra to Burnley for 10mil who’d scored 21 goals the season before

I mean he’s an absolutely dreadful manager and his next job is in a studio but Everton aren’t actually in a position to hire anyone who’s either good or has the possibility of coming good are they? Brian Potter or whatever his name is at Brighton just laughed at them.

Get a new ownership and squad or its rinse and repeat.

Kovac has managed Bayern Munich. Most football managers have not managed a team like that. Id put him in the top 2% of managers.
We appointed Benitez and Lampard mate.

No manager worth his salt is joining this cesspit of a club.

Imagine the meetings last Summer.

"So how much have I got to improve the squad"
"1.7million"
"Hello, are you still there??????"

You said most managers wouldn't be interested. I was just rephrasing because we pay crazy money to managers.

Most managers would have been very interested. Only the very good ones, of which there are very few, would not have been interested. Unfortunately we need a miracle worker and there aren't many of them about either.

My point is basically of the thousands of managers out there, like 95% arent very good. But I dont think they have turned down 4m a year if offered

Ok, let me rephrase that.

"No manager we would have wanted was interested".

The big difference with Carlo and Frank is, that Carlo seems to do better setting up a team with a gameplan to get a result.

Whereas I don't see Frank maneuvering his players like chess pieces like Carlo does.
Not sure about that when he set up 5 at the back at home v the worst team in the league, we lost and had we won we would have got Europe. Not sure of the exact points, but 2nd on Boxing Day to finish 10th , the 2nd half of the season must have been bottom 6 form.

And the thing in his favour, especially away was no fans. Look how this group crumble under pressure. Ancelotti wasn’t all that imo.

my mate's a season ticket holder at Chelsea and he warned me that Frank appeared to lack any real tactical nouse citing that Chelsea neither took shots or crossed the ball when he was in charge. He equally said that he didn't think he was given enough time and his deficiencies only really showed after Tuchel came in and got so much more out of the same squad.
I never expected Lampard to be a tactical master like Ancelotti... I'm not sure i even expected better football (and the football under Benitez was dire) but i did expect - given his playing career and the the backroom team at his disposal - for him to motivate the players a little more. I thought maybe having a recently retired player that won it all, the overpaid cowards at our club might be inspired to try harder. That may or may not be on him, these are same group of players that have consistently failed manager after manager and given up time and time again but I was hopeful we'd see someone challenge this squad and call them out because that's what they need. A hard dose of reality.

I genuinely think Everton dont do surprise results. Others like leeds and watford will and do.
Everton. Nah. We are so predictable and fragile.
Prayers are all i have now. 100 hail marys a day.

I think there'll be one in there. Even at home say against Chelsea. Think most teams have at least one shock result in them.

Tuchel is getting called out for them being shot shy too.
