DCL gone mate, the fact he stopped playing him altogetherDue to our injury issues a few extra incomings won’t be enough. The core of this group has to be dismantled in my opinion. I’d like to see Coleman Keane Holgate Mina (sadly because of his injuries) Davies Gomes and one of DCL or Richarlison to go along with those being released.
Why in the world would we get rid of Frank???I think this is about right. The rest MUST be cut like a cancerous tumour from the club. If Lampard survives and is naive enough to think he can rely on the majority of this squad, he is setting himself up for a much deserved sacking. The only legitimate reason to keep the faith with Lampard is he is now perfectly positioned to conduct the necessary purge over the summer and build a side in his own image. If he won't do that, he has to go. Coleman needs to be thanked for his years of loyal, mediocre service. Holgate needs to be rewarded with a new packet of Wrigley's and punted into the Mersey. Ruthlessness needs to be the order of the day. Any player who can bring in significant funds (such as, say, DCL if suitors haven't been paying attenton) must be sold. There is no future for Frank Lampard with a team of Andre Gomes, Michael Keane, Delle Ali, Tom Davies, and other sundry detritus.
Then why would he keep him as chairmanAre you telling me that Moshiri actually listens to Kenwright or values his opinion at all? How have you worked that one out? The man appointed Rafael Benitez for crying out loud. Not once in the 6 years Moshiri has been here do I think Kenwright has been allowed to have any input on a managerial appointment. Your proof of “well Kenwright is the chairman” is not sufficient I’m afraid.
Yes, and a lot of fans could see where he was going wrong and thankfully the penny dropped.
IMO I think he believed he could go all out playing for wins and secure our PL status pretty quickly. He was quickly disabused of that notion and the fragility of the players' mentality must have been a shock.

I see, well apparently had he lose to Utd they would have sacked him and appointed AllerdyceBecause he was one of the Anti Lampard Faction, who were screaming for his head a few games ago and is now looking for any excuses to carry on with the agenda.
And hopefully Moshiri has now realised the football side of things has to be left to Lampard and Thelwell, and he deletes Joorabchian’s number from his “dodgy” contact list!I think we have to be humble and dont ask for a major breakthrough.
Lampard has to be left like Moyes was to get the club's confidence back and an identity into the squad.
Funnily enough, I think sell to buy and the taps getting turned off will help us.
When ?!If he keeps us up
We won't - if he keeps us up. Our standards are so low now that he might even survive if he takes us down. My point, however, was that if he is stupid or naive enough to think he can rely on the bulk of the current squad, he will be signing his own P45 by Christmas. He has to rebuild this summer - big time. If he doesn't, he'll be making a rod for his own back. Why in the world would we get rid of Frank???
There is no agenda. I am skeptical of Lampard. At the time of his appointment, I didn't see what he had done to merit the job. However, he has shown enough since the Burnley debacle to suggest he can grow into it - and this is the key. He deserves a lot of credit for the last few results. However, that credit will drain away if we manage to lose tomorrow. So, it can go either way right now. Win tomorrow, and he will basically have confirmed his suitability in the most powerful way: by keeping us up. That was what he was originally appointed to do. He will have convinced a lot of doubters - people like me - that he more than merits the chance to rebuild the club. My position is simple: keep us up and rebuild us.Because he was one of the Anti Lampard Faction, who were screaming for his head a few games ago and is now looking for any excuses to carry on with the agenda.
