I'm not going to argue we played well yesterday, but let's get the facts right at least. That was their third clean sheet (and third nil nil) of the season. They drew nil nil at United and Burnley.
OK the commentary on my stream said otherwise. But still

For the first time in many seasons I am really hopeful for next season, the manager clearly has the fans, and the players behind him

Its quite clear that although he was an appalling manager the FSW was disliked by the fans to the point that the players turned on him as well.

I dont see the fans turning on Lampard at all, which will feed through to the players, and am confident we can fight for Europe next season.

Totally agree except for fighting for Europe. Next seasons aim has to be survival but a more comfortable survival. Top half would be a huge success imo.

If we have a a decent transfer window and start to the season feel good factor will continue. Big if

I dont see why not.

The league is poor other than 2 teams. We have drawn away and beaten the 3rd place team this season as well.

Up until the Watford game we still could have finished 10th with 4 games to go, which is ridiculous when you think about it.

Let's focus on staying up this year first, before making unrealistic predictions for next

We have a lot of work still to do

Getting into Europe most likely means gaining 20 more points than we have this season. That just seems an unlikely gap for us to cross in 1/2 transfer windows. I love the optimism though!
