I just think if defenders do their jobs even to a respectable level, we win the game.

Each goal is properly shambolic. What system truly covers up basic errors? I don't think there is one out there.
There isn't one, you just have to get better players

Lampard was at fault ultimately yesterday because he left JJK on the pitch, and JJK's stupidity resulted in their winner.

Hmmm... If Godfrey doesn't make an inexplicable error then the danger is cut out at source.

Equally for goal 2, DCL doesn't pull out of making a challenge and the damage is cut out at source

I see it as a lack of responsibility. Everyone happy to leave it to others.

Oh what Dyche said is true and backed up by evidence of our performances this season.
And he is deliberately sticking the knife in to send Everton deeper into a tailspin.
But if you have a modicum of professionalism those words should resonate and inspire / motivate you to prove the ginger one to be wrong.
If it was me I'd be wanting to ram those words down his gob. Somehow I doubt that our frauds will react in the same way.
Benitez did with his facths and fumbled it.

We'll see

I was worried we might leave this at the last second. We have to start grinding out some points or relegation is a certainty. Not sure YOLO footy will keep us afloat. Who is going to score the goals when we have no service from the fullbacks?

Who is going to prevent goals when we’ve had a calamity all season in the central midfield and back line? Our wingers are the only ones that give me any slice of hope and they haven’t been great by any means either. We just suck. Bad

If I had the chance, I would print off the Dyche diatribe and stick it on the locker of every player. Team talk done.
If that didn't galvanise them and truly anger them and shame them, then I don't know what would.

He did get a clap from most supporters in his first game, yes. That doesn't mean he was universally welcomed or that he was given full backing.

You only need to look on here to see the personal and sometimes xenophobic abuse he gets from people who say he should never have been here in the first place and that this was plain for all to see before his appointment.

It was apparent to everyone he wasn't universally welcomed at the time. I think it's you that seems to be trying to change history.
He was, so please stop lying

Nothing will mate, they've had ex players, press, media absolutely slagging them off, they've got the worst away record currently in PL times, they've taken absolute mullerings from the fans due to shambolic away performances

What Dyche said won't do squat with this shower, they're an embarrassment to their profession and the sooner this season ends the sooner we can get rid of as many of them as possible.

This is what happens when you hire Benitez, sell Digne, fire Benitez then bring in an inexperienced attacking manager. We sold our only player that HAD to be man-marked every game. Nobody is a threat anymore.

Sigh! I think you are probably right. It's my optimistic side that keeps me thinking something is better than nothing. After all, nothing is all we have at the moment and, like all else, I do pray something will stir these wasters.

Well the Burnley attack comes as a direct result of JJK trying a shot from 30 yards mate. Burnley block it, punt it up the other end, Pickford is forced into a hashed clearance and then the throw, JJK gets done, Godfrey then skews the clearance. Lampard should have taken Kenny off because he got skinned for the 2nd goal and Burnley just kept attacking down that side from then on in.
