2022/23 Frank Lampard

IF the new manager shows nothing to suggest improvement or progress then why not, at the start of the season I could see a plan but the last 5/6/7 games I have no idea what the plan is, it looks like the players dont even know and the results are gettiing worse and not better....

I know in my line of work if the manager doesnt perform he has to be replaced as with any club up and down the country. Football needs to be ruthless, this club is not....

Building a team especially one with players we have im guessing is difficult! Spunking a load of cash for a new manager every 2nd or 3rd transfer window is exactly why we’re in this mess.

Not one manager has been allowed to build a team that are his all players because we’re too trigger happy, we continue to keep going down this road then we’re gone,

I think the answer is don`t give them contracts that run for 3/4/5 years and give them clauses which terminate the contract if they dont hit certain targets...

2 of them 5 is no loss whatsoever and Coady is only on loan, thats always a risk but again no different to what happens in football at every level around the world.

I guess if we had a competent owner/DoF we would already have highlighted the new manager should Frank be removed, obviously you never know what any appointment will be like until in but doing homework and watching/ keeping tabs on them means you go in to an interview knowing what they are all about.

Obviously tough times at the moment, the last person to bring any form of success was Moyes, perhaps we need him in the interim to bring us back up the table before we can appoint someone to take us to the levels Moyes cant.... all I know is what I can see with my eyes and that is poor football only seen under Allardyce but without the sort of points return Allardyce bought.

Cack managers on long contracts have cost us way too much, if they prove themselves in 12-18 months then extend for years....

Lampard will get as much time as he needs unless it looks like we are heading for the drop. I don't think he'll do much with that time but he deserves it like any manager does.
