I like him and all that, but many people warned us that he's not a good coach and it turns out they were right.

Goodwill alone is not enough to accept him taking us down. He's shown that he's not capable of assembling a squad that is good enough challenge even mid-table in this division, and we're sinking quickly right now.

Yes, Richarlison's sale was forced on him but he also alongside Thelwell, deemed it a good move up spend up to £60m on Onana, Maupay and McNeil.

If you sell your best player, your very first move has to be to find a suitable replacement for him. And he failed big time on that.

The problem is, even if we beat Wolves, all isn't solved. We know FL is capable of these bad runs and they will happen again and again. Our only solution is to get a squad as good as Chelsea's, and then his ceiling might be 8th place

That period was basically just the time that Moyes was in charge. Prior to him taking charge we went through managers almost as much as we do now, Moyes was the 5th manager we'd had in 8 years.
Much of that was down to the fact that Moyes was on a massive wage when he was here, one of the best payed managers in the game at the time, there was point in time where he was on more than Wenger. Kenwright could never in a million years have afforded to sack Moyes if he had needed to and there is a school of thought that says Moyes probably did stay a few years too long and had run out of ideas towards the end.

Yep, and while some of us might have liked a change or at least a change of approach, the truth is it would have been absolute madness to sack Moyes at almost any point in his tenure because he was consistently doing well. I was definitely ready for him to leave, but what's happened since just goes to show that the grass isn't always greener.

Well poor choices and structure after he left defo didn't help at all.
