2022/23 Frank Lampard

Agreed, but where is the evidence over 10 months that he can be?
I worry about that too and his tactics and lack of attacking patterns and we need to see a direction of travel even in a rebuild we haven't seen enough I agree. But is that enough to sack him now?

More worrying is that Frank said in the interview after that playing a possession team like Celtic from a farmers league was the reason he reverted to a back 5... "we had to sit back against a possession team like Celtic." Defensive mentality and football akin to Sam Allardyce....

All he talks about is acclimatising and seeing the country, you are there to win and get things going, it is not a jolly.

For me it is MORE OF THE SAME, what we have been seeing all season.

You know what this reminds me of... Remember when Moyes was beaten with a "bring a knife to a gunfight" mentality... Lampard is displaying just that. Watch the interview.

Lampard was happy and pleased with the game...

Postecoglou on the other hand seems "happy" with the perfomance, he says dominated the game a few times but his body language suggests he is disappointed by the result. Our manager looks absolutely chuffed.... LEVELS....

We literally had two fit midfielders that's why he played five at the back. Who is the third if you are playing a 433?

Celtic are a better team than Everton, so that's no surprise.

I still think ancelotti was a crap manager for us, fight me.

I never ever called for him to be sacked but I agree, his time with us was very underwhelming. Plus the fact that our great owner allowed him to have a stupid release clause in his contract where he could just walk out the door as soon as “certain clubs” fluttered their eyelashes at him, it was a complete mess of an appointment in the end, ended up causing more problems than it solved.

Upon terrible decisions at the board level for years the side was on a direct route to .. well were we are now after carlo left. He plugged up a few holes in the ship and got us to the last game of the season v man city to qualify for Europe. Won our only Derby in a 15 years away. He then left and won the biggest cup of them all 9 months later.

I wasn't that entitled that I was let down by Carlos first season. Definitely didn't want him sacked. Like yourself atleast. But anyone who did wamt him sacked deserved everything that has come after and whats to come.

I like the way you pay homage to Carlo here by speaking in an Italian accent.
