Maupay has been garbage in front of goal his entire career and Gordon has never been good at scoring anything other than scruffy goals. If you honestly think a manager is going to come in and get them scoring you are utterly deluded.

Lampard is the perfect manager for a group of fans who absolutely despise the players as he just shrugs and agrees with fans rather than doing something about it. Did it at Chelsea too.

I’m sure it’s just a massive coincidence that the director of football buys Lampard the player he wanted to buy Benitez. The club buy managers the players the club can easily get instead of the ones they want and have since Martinez.
