2022/23 Frank Lampard

Should be it for him, now. No point giving him Jan when he’s blatantly not the one to integrate new players into the team. After a solid start from a few, every play we brought in over the summer has come down to the team’s level, not raised it as we’d have hoped/expected.

Getting someone new in and giving them the chance to bed the new signings in, seems like the only way we can hope to get a sufficient enough bounce to stay up.

I doubt hiring Sean Dyche is going to magically turn Maupay into a 15 goal a season attacker

I’m not sure sacking lampard solves anything

All of the other problems would still exist

I’m sure he will be sacked like, but it’s just moving the deck chairs on the Titanic now

As long as the goggle eyed freak owns us we’re screwed

Even if we somehow magically survive this season again, we’re just delaying the inevitable

This is a terribly run football club and sacking Frank Lampard will do very little to fix that
So you either think a manager has an effect on a team, or you don't. If we sacked Lampard and replaced him with no one, under your theory, we'd have the same results. So why not sack him and save the wages if we're doomed for relegation? Or.... We can hire someone with experience of getting the best from a championship level side, and hope they can keep us up.

Because you agree with it.
He has done absolutely nothing in his time here to suggest he is a good manager. We scraped survival this year , we may or may not this year.
But any manager in this league who loses 5 on the spin deserves the chop .

Didnt the brentford manager lose 8 on the spin?
I dont think its the case you lose your job on a bad run. Its wether you can see some valid reason not to.
Having absolutely nothing up front is a possible reason.
Devils advocate there.

Can't understand why he gets the sack now and not after the debacle at Bournemouth, which would have given a new manager six weeks to take a look at the team and have a better idea of what was needed in the January window. If Lamps is the problem for the team on the pitch then it is time for the people on the board to be sacked as well. Let's hope he gets a buyer quickly and a new owner comes in and shows all of them the door, every season we think that they can't drag us down any lower but they still manage to get worse but their time is up, no more scapegoat managers for them to hide behind, GET OUT OF OUR CLUB.

No mate, not at all

His in game management is very poor.

But the cold hard facts is that we have 4 fit attackers that haven’t scored 50 top flight goals in their entire career
He isn't the sole reason we are in this position.
The board are and have been a problem for years.
I honestly don't know why any of them gets to sit on that board at all.
Owner obviously has to but the rest of them ?
Since kenwright has been involved we have slowly drifted downwards but he stays.
A competent board doesn't employ the likes of Rafael and lampard, or two managers who have relegated there teams.
I feel sorry for lampard.
But I don't think he is even an average manager

I think its coming to the crunch. Do we back him and let him bring in signings or get rid and give a new manager the money. Ive always taken our financial and off the pitch problems into consideration when judging lampard but today was enough for me. We shouldnt be losing in that manner and i think its down to the manager.

no mate all we need is a proper striker haven't you heard?

no other problems to see here

Tbh it is the main issue. I wouldnt say the team is all over the place.
We just offer nothing in the attacking sense in terms of finishing. And you cant win games if you cant score.
