I hear there are plenty of managers out there who can turn a championship (at best, let’s be honest they wouldn’t be the best attacking line up in the championship) attack into a group of player who can score regularly in the premier league.

People saying Poch or Tuchel are mad when they turned down a far more attractive job than ours last month.

Nobody is making Gray, McNeil and Gordon, with their 30 career goals between them, into effective attack players

Thelwell is doing more than just recruitment and we finally have a competent academy instead of that slug Unsworth trying to do ten jobs like it's the mid 90s. Add the amount paid for Gana, Garner and Onana and suddenly you scratch your head how the DOF/Manager allowed season to start with that front line - without a single player proven to score or create consistently.

Better than digne for sure. At least he can defend...for sure he can contribute more but he is still young and learning. Happy with him in the team. Defence is probably the only thing that has improved this season...attacking is the issue and yes all can contribute more, but when I see the pass to Gordon I am expecting Gordon to score.

Thelwell isn't at fault, problem is we always have people having to un do the mess of the previous, not just the DOF but the manager too

We've had the humiliating results against Bournemouth and now this. Frank is a nice guy and he ain't Benitez but that can only hold water for so long.

The squad is awful it badly needs strengthening, but we need to see more from Lampard as well and as of now we just ain't seeing it.

The situation is extremely concerning right now, and we have Man City up next as well. So indeed things probably will get worse before they get better.

I think we can. I'd say we have a better chance than not of staying up, but it's still too close for comfort. Burnley stringing 3 wins together has shocked me. Had they not done that we would have been safe by now we just have to keep winning now to we’re we get out and then enough to stay up...

It really didn't need to reach this point. Should've been thanked in May like Big Sam was and a proper appointment made then. It was definitely time after Bournemouth with a mini-preseason coming. And now here we are, trying to get lucky just to finish 17th. Bad decision after bad decision.
