Richarlison hasn't exactly taken Tottenham by storm, and there isn't a big difference between him and Maupay when it comes to goal production. So it's not like we've replaced Messi with Kieffer Moore (Which, by the way, was a total disaster in the Norwegian league).

Who by the way has 4 PL goals this year, while Maupay has 1 goal, while Richarlison has zero.
Mate, Richarlison is in a different league.

8th last accounts I think, possibly lower now with other clubs spending.

That table is the ultimate indictment of our board and those they employed. It is statistically proven that league position is closely correlated to wage spend. This table proves as much, with the vast majority of teams within three league places of their wage position. And then look at us. An utter disgrace. So, when people point to Everton players and say "waste of money", they are invariably correct.

Spurs should get rid of Harry Kane whilst they can still get a pretty buck tor him and and develop their team around richarlison as their star striker

A front three of son - richarlison - kulusevksi would be really good

You keep using really extreme words to invalidate me but it’s not true. I never said he’s a mastermind in my first post and I’m certainly not a worshipper and honestly I’m not sure who is?

I was happy with the tactics yesterday, they kept City down to one goal from a half chance and luckily Gray managed to pull off a wonder goal, a point earned with a bit of luck. I also thought his tactics were fine against Wolves but we have crap forwards and didn’t score enough so we lost.

Who are these Frank worshippers? Are you just being purposefully over the top to try and discredit people with different opinions than you who think Frank is doing ok and would do better with better players and most managers would struggle to win games with our current forward line?

@ForeverBlue92 is guilty of this also. If you show any positivity towards our manager you worship him apparently.

Very weird.

Kendall was close to the sack in 83 after a run of poor results and then look what happened he managed to a build a successful team. Lampard knows what it takes to be successful in this league. He certainly deserves the next two windows to build his team. The signings of Coady, Onana and Guye are just the start. He needs time to fully build his team.
Only if were not getting relegated, if we're too close to relegation he should be sacked.
E.g Say were in the bottom 3 at end of Jan or something

I think it's mad that that's not even seen as a minimum standard for Everton anymore

Nonsense. Wolves have a crap forward line too and have scored less goals than us in league but guess what they still won the game!

I guess I’m willing to criticise the manager and players after abject performances where as for you it’s seems it’s just the latter. Fair enough.

The players aren’t good enough but neither is he. He’s completely inept in my eyes but I get there are others out there who deem us to be worst team in the league and he’s doing ‘ok’ for getting 3 wins in 17, finding any excuse in the book to defend him because he’s a nice guy. My mistake.

I dont think anyones actually accepting it is.
I was going to Everton during the kendall days so ive seen a lot.
I have absolutely no idea if lampard is good or bad long term. But im tired now of Everton just replacing manager after manager and putting no thought into it. The last two managers prior to lampard were short term appointments as neither were going to lay any foundations here. That couldnt keep happening. We havent Got Chelsea money either. We cant spend 250m every transfer window.
So might have to ride the storm with a younger manager and give him time. Im now a bit more of a realist. This time last year i thought this was as bad a Everton team as i'd seen. We all know about the last few years of recruitment. No need to bang that rotten drum.
First things first though. This manager needs backing for a few strikers. That is also as bad as ive seen in all my years watching Everton.
Starting the season with not a single striker to pick is something ive never seen in my life at a top professional club.

? you did it again
Nobody is ‘finding any excuse in the book to defend him because he’s a nice guy’ just like nobody has called him a ‘mastermind’ and nobody is ‘worshipping’ him.

Some people think he’s doing a decent job setting up the team with what he has to work with. Not one single person is happy with the results we’ve had or thinks 3 in 17 is good, but some of us think Frank isn’t the problem and that years of poor signings and mismanagement of finances is the problem and that the better the squad gets the better a job Frank will do.

I could be completely wrong so I’m not going to say you’re wrong for your opinion but ffs stop with the hyperbole. Nobody thinks he’s the messiah just like I’m sure you don’t think the worst manager to ever manage in the history of managing.

He is our second worst manager ever.

I would actually get rid of Son too and bring in another big money superstar alongside Richi and Kuli.
