2022/23 Frank Lampard

I’ve had a few stabs at Frank lately but this weekend I listened to all of his interviews and what I hear is encouraging. He quite rightly sees the problems are not a quick fix. He sees the weaknesses across the squad . He clearly wants possession based attacking football and is realistic enough to realise that the current squad only has that in its locker in bursts. Currently 5 across the back counter attack is what we can do so I see him doing more of it … especially away.
I don’t believe we are relegation fodder yet there’s enough dross beneath us and just above us for us to make a mid table finish.
I think given time and a couple more windows things will turn out well for Frank and all of us. If the board sees this is another conversation which will partly be answered in this transfer window

There is?

Got it right at the weekend ,
But doesn't mean he has become a decent manager overnight.
Don't think he is getting sacked , so no piont in getting worked up over it.
I think we are in trouble with him in charge.
Let's just see how it turns out.

He's way more qualified than Lampard is, proven track record in premier league and working with little money (which well likely have little money going forward)

I just want to stay in the premier league, he gives us a better chance than pretty.much anyone available to us.

Yet, somehow he remains unemployed, since getting the bullet from Burnley ?

hes holding out for a premier league job for now, hes had offers else were. There was a good interview he did with Unilad's you tube channel were he discussed this.
Also Howe was out of work for even longer, yet was a good appointment for Newcastle. Howe and Dyche's achievements were fairly similar in keeping a team in the premier with little budget.

Nothing changed just because Gray pulls a worldie out of the bag. Will f*** *p against Brighton and we'll be in an even worse position, but nobody has the will to change anything. This is how we go down, people. We watch idly by and then when it's too late we ask why we didn't change things.
Pretty confident you’re allowed to say up, for future reference.

Just waiting for Bull Kenwright to come calling...
[In a gravely voice] Sean, have you ever watched Blood Brothers?

He kept them in the league for just shy of a decade when they spend one of the lowest year on year, also managed to get them into Europe twice. Something Managers here have failed to do since Koeman.
One attempted to play attractive football while doing so, but looked poor at handling a defence. One played stuck to yard-dog football.

Oh, and one appears to have dealt with the defensive frailty part.
