Because he's done a terrible job so far, more than enough imo to already have been sacked, and tonight ought to be the straw that breaks the camel's back. Won't be though.

Mate your are heavily overstating how good brighton are here. Especially away from home. No, I wouldn't be disappointed. If we got a draw against S'ton I would be. Brighton are well capable of pummelling us if we give them half a chance.
We have to be patient and not push for the win, allow them the ball to make mistakes and we (theoretically) can cash in.
If we had a decent striker right now I'd back us heavily to convert a chance or two against their releatively weak defence, but we dont.
I hope for a narrow win; but I'd accept a draw.
Honestly, people suggesting that they're perfectly fine with the idea of us extending our winless run to 7 games by failing to win a home game against the 10th best team in the league is hurting my head. I've never been one to give it the NSNO big one but this is letting standards slip too far even for me. People should remember this next time they want to claim the fanbase is toxic and too difficult to please.
If we go toe for toe they'll pummel us. We cant afford that game because we have no regular scorers.Mate your are heavily overstating how good brighton are here. Especially away from home.
They should never in a million years "pummel" us at home, regardless of how bad we are.
Completely detached from reality that. From next 2 games
0-1 point sacked.
2-3 points on the verge
4-6 points Safe .
Cup game pretty irrelevant unless hammered tonight and hammered in that
No they won't, becuase they themselves don't have a regular goalscorer, they have trossard who has about 6.If we go toe for toe they'll pummel us. We cant afford that game because we have no regular scorers.
We wont be pummeled if we play conservativley as we did on Saturday against City. If we do that I believe there's something there for us.
The days when we could sweep aside Brighton are shelved for the foseeable.
That's where we are right now, and anyone who thinks we still can aren't paying attention.
That's our problem as a relegation threatened team then.No they won't, becuase they themselves don't have a regular goalscorer, they have trossard who has about 6.
I agree they are currently the better team, but they are still a bang average team.
Again I agree we should play a certain way like we did Vs city, however id still be disappointed if we didn't win a home game under the lights Vs Brighton, and I think most Everton fans attending tonight would feel the same.
So much wrong with thisThat's our problem as a relegation threatened team then.
No other bottom club faces such expectations. That's why they'll be helped to dig out the points they require to get out of the mess they're in and we'll just wilt.
Those scenes at GP last season in the run in...that worked because those fans expected NOTHING. They knew that the team is poor and needed help - not sunk by the weight of expectation.
That's the only route out of the mess this time too. We dont need pyro and mobbed coaches on Goodison Road. We just need fans realism.

Everyone on the forum please read this post. ^^^^^We still have a large part of the fan base that believes this is a top ten side that with a bit of motivation can get back up there and maybe with a manager change can challenge for europe again. Allardyce fluking 8th place from that season was the worst thing that could happen for fuelling their fire. That team was trash and deserved to be right in the bottom half and it’s not been much better since bar a few bright spots here and there under Silva and Ancelotti.
Last season should have been a wake up call. There’s no James Siggurdson or Rooney to see us past a few bottom half teams at home and get us up the table. No Osman Pienaar Barry to play a bit of football and see us past a few teams as we did under the back end of Martinez.
We had a defence that was probably the worst in the league player for player once Mina got injured (Coleman Keane Holgate Kenny)
A midfield that was one paced with zero skill
An injured strike force with our only star quality being Richarlison who was in and out of fitness all season until the end.
We’ve dramatically improved the defence in my view, but the midfield whilst being a bit quicker is equally poor on the ball, but the main difference is we have a pop gun attack now with our main hope being the return of an increasingly average Dominic Calvert-Lewin. We’ve got no go-to player to win a game for us from an attacking sense which we’ve had pretty much every season I can remember watching us. There’s no James Richarlison Rooney Lukaku Cahill or even Ferguson type figure to bail us out in this squad.
We are a bottom half side whose route to survival is accumulating points through being miserly and playing on the counter attack or edging games by a goal. We haven’t got the players to do anything else unless we invest heavily in Jan. When you edge games though sometimes these are going to go against you. We simply cannot open up though as we’re not going to be on the good side of a 3-2 or 4-3 with this attack.
Play to our strengths, get the points, I don’t care if it’s a load of draws, just stay in the league, improve the strike force in January and in the summer, start again next season. It’s painful but that’s where we are. Most of the midfield and forward players just aren’t at the required standard.
West Ham and Wolves haven't seen their team degraded in the last two seasons. They have technically sound players, and some of those can win games pretty much single handed. That doesn't apply to us.So much wrong with this
You think teams like west ham and wolves fans don't expect wins at home Vs certain teams?. Your wrong, they do hence why they have both been booed off this season.
Again in regards to last season, so wrong again, take palace for example you think our fans didn't expect to win that game going into it? Mate you couldn't be any further from the truth.
Realism is needed at times, I wouldn't expect us to win a home game Vs one of the top 6/7 and some fans probably would, but most teams in this league is expect us to beat at home, we won't of course do that, but we should expect it.
we've beaten leeds 3-0, brentford 4-1 and palace 3-0 at home under lampardEveryone on the forum please read this post. ^^^^^
