I still think tonight is FL's last game in charge.

Despite the obvious effort put in we'll be there again with Frank's team in the PL when they just hand the opposition too much space.

He's gone in the next few days would be my guess.

lol some people think if a new manager comes in Dominic Calvert-Lewin will be haaland

and maupay will be salah

add to that we can’t create a piece of toast
Of course it's all about opinions mate...but then you see shouts that Allardyce would be better, or Moyes would sort it (look at the squad at his disposal this season and where he is)

Our squad is fkin abysmal, full of absolute crap and people think someone will waltz in and all will be sound and we'll stay up and then complain about the running of the club at the end of the season.

Regarding any shouts about Dyche, a fair few Burnley fans have been on here when discussing Mcneil and Tarkowski and tbh haven't exscoy endorsed Dyche. They talk about coaching the creativity out of Mcneil, falling out with players, wanting to control everything (yeah like that would happen here).

He was beneath us in the league until this week.
Shall we compare both managers last 42 games, or Moyes 1st 42 Everton games? I know which manager comes out better....

I don`t want Moyes although I think he will do a better job. It`d be funny if those calling Moyes ability in to doubt would be the same people calling for Dyche.... ?

I think if you have two forwards with good movement then someone like Gordon can play in behind them to good effect.
Yeah possibly, I would love us to have a couple of options who offer different things so we can change things up too.

I find it absolutely mad that we have Maupay and DCL (and even Gray and Gordon at points this season) playing at different times yet both playing what is essentially the same role and same style of play. We never seem to play to anybodies strengths (whatever few they have).

You could also throw in the fact that the last couple of days of media coverage, about the unrest at the clubs board, might put off credible managers.

I do not think we have any money to spend in this window (hence the Ings loan move early in the window).

So any good manager, even any adequate manager, will want assurances of money to spend.

No manager wants a relegation on their CV.

Do you trust the board to replace him with a manager who will suddenly make us good?

I think he does too. He kept worse Burnley teams up for what, 7 years or something?

If we go down, he also has experience of promoting a team.

Do I like the idea of Dyche? No.

But let's be pragmatic and he's the pragmatic choice. He has experience of working with crap and avoiding the drop.
The teams he kept up had players that came up with him and that were proper grafters.

We have none of that.

Boggles the mind the cries of "tactics" somehow solving the goals crisis. Not only is any manager screwed with a toothless match day lineup every week, what manager of real quality is going to willingly come to work for the horror show that is the Everton board?
I totally agree. Don’t see someone solving the route to goal/goal crisis with these players. And as you say, who the f… would want to come here and try? Nobody I’d want, pretty sure about that!!

The only Good Buy Frank can make

Are you saying Moyes couldn`t do better than Lampard?

Moyes is 1 point better off currently than Lampard woth a far superior squad. So you'd be wanting him sacked if he was our current manager yeah?

Starting from scratch, pre season and IN TOTAL CONTROL OF THE club, Moyes would do better than Lampard as he has a proven track record.
Moyes coming in now, it'll be another Sunderland type relegation for him which took him years to rebuild his rep

So he survived Wolves, Brighton. He survives tonight as it wasn’t a mauling. Surely it must be a win against Southampton or gone, otherwise the Jan window is gone for any new manager.
