I'm not saying he's a great manager, but I'm not hearing anyone suggest a serious replacement who would do better.
If Lampard is manager for that game, we are in massive trouble. If he somehow manages to win it, we are in a worse position because he will keep the job for another month at least. We have to believe it.
The only thing to contradict that was that in interview he said that it only takes a win or two to transform the situation for a team...as though he was still pleading for his job.I don't want to see him sacked but I tend to agree with you that that was probably his last game.
His body language after the game was that of a man who already knows he is gone, add to that the pressure being put on the board and Moshiri they know they have to do something and they will opt for saving there own skins.
Whatever happens new manager or not the charletons running the club have to be hounded out.
I think that would be an equally big gamble. His last season with Burnley was grim and all the stuff he gets credit for completely deserted him.I think Dyche.
Lampard relegates the Burnley side he kept up for 7 seasons IMO.

Who would you go for?
Mate? Cmon. Don't be like that.
He's a bit of a tool but he's definitely an Evertonian.
Lost 3-1 and loads of evertonians saying it was a solid performance and the team are fighting for the manger. After a 3-1 defeat. I dunno, the motto is dead and buried. Long life NSNO
But could you not level the same criticism that lampard gets? I.e. he could grind out results until he couldn't. Then he had no plan b and got relegated.Wheels did indeed come off - I think they'd have been alright if they didn't sell Chris Wood on him.
I was probably coming across as very miserable last summer but I think I was one of the minority who agreed with you.Actually think you're right. There was someone else with a similar name moaning at me for being a miserable arse when the window shut.
Excluding Calvert-Lewin, The fact we've not got the players with any record of goals/assists ever in their game dictated relegation scrap.
Another more experienced, savvy and pragmatic manager improve our odds to stay up IMO. The biggest factor would be some signings...

As I say, any serious suggestions?
