The only thing to contradict that was that in interview he said that it only takes a win or two to transform the situation for a team...as though he was still pleading for his job.

I think he's genuinely not sure what's going on...and THAT is unforgivable by this club, whatever your position on Lampard.

I think Moshiri will look at it from the POV that under his watch as manager he has us out of both cups now early doors and in the bottom three mid season. We've conceded 17 in 6 games and we've had 4 wins all season in all comps. He's not surviving and I'd say replacements are already being interviewed. I agree though they've been leaving him to fester. Whether he gets another game or not, we'll see but he certainly doesn't deserve one.

Postecoglu is a realistic target. The others just aren't. It's not that I hold lampard to a high standard, it just that I don't think the other names are assured to turn things around.

Lampard relegates the Burnley side he kept up for 7 seasons IMO.

If I am Dyche, I am looking at the job Allardyce did in keeping us up, and I am wanting assurances and money that the club probably can not or do not want to give. The longer Dyche stays out of work, the better he becomes. He can also demand more from his next club.

I worry if Lampard goes we are more likely to get a Rooney, Ferguson or even a Dean Smith before we were able to attract Dyche. If West Ham sack Moyes, he would be another likely possibility.

Change the manager, short term bounce potentially, but the squad remains the same and simply are not good enough. There is no quick fix

3 goals in 7 minutes, back to back losses to Bournemouth. Any well groomed manager would not let this happen.
No clue why he’s still our manager.. 2nd worse record ever. I won’t bother to watch anymore games with this fraud in charge.

Where he said Everton were successful in the 80s. Kenwright joined the board in 89. We have been unsuccessful since.

The thing about Dyche is that Burnley had to pull the plug on him with 8 games to go last season because he had them in the Championship well before the final game of the season.

I think he could be a good manager. The other names would not come to us in a million years though. Dyche is the only other name on the list who we could get but I don't see that as a solution.

I disagree. I think Dyche improves our odds just because he had proven credentials of doing exactly that.

I hope we beat Southampton and never look back. Lampard comes across really well.

But none of us know the score with Lampard, really - other than I think only Mike Walker has a worst record as Everton manager.
