What on earth has he done to command this level of support apart from replace a reviled figure and talk about how much he gets us? He has won 4 games the entire season, we'd have pushed Benitez (as difficult as it would have been) into the river if he had that record and was given more time. Zero standards from either us or the board anymore, just pathetic
We quite literally didn't like

Not sure on this.

He's injured, that's why he's not playing. He'd never kicked a ball in the PL before we signed him, so was never going to be thrown straight in and in September and early October the midifeld was working well.

Lampard really wanted Garner and really likes him. He'd be playing if his back wasn't knackered (worrying like given he's what, 21?).

Good point, forgot he was injured

My point is people taking positives from last night and now saying give him more time. Last night changed nothing..
We lost again .
It changed nothing for me either. We've shown commitment and 'spirit' plenty of times under Lampard.

It just underlined the squad lacks any quality, whatever system we play and whichever manager is in charge.

Moyes is not the answer imo. A lot of the issues we have here with Frank are the same issues that West Ham fans have got with Moyes, tactics, in game management, some of his signings (despite spending a hell of a lot of money in the summer) He is showing little sign of having any solutions to these problems at the moment.

The thing with Moyes at West Ham is that their at a point now after recent decent seasons and a lot of spending, they want his team to be on the front foot and get at teams and that’s not Moyes’ style as we know.

And I’m not for wanting Moyes back but I do think he could do a job at us. Right now for us, his management style would suit us. We know he’s good at setting up a team defensively and utilising what squad he’s got. We know he will work on set pieces etc to get goals and do what he can to get results and right now that’s what we need imo. I was hoping Lampard would of seen we need that sooner but he hasn’t twigged on to it and we’ve been dire.

Moyes has supposedly been given 2 games to save his job. They are against Wolves and us. When they play us it could be the day that either Frank or Moyes is sacked.
We do need points before we play W Ham. If not it would be fitting in the Everton manner to sack Lampard and appoint Moyes.

The cycle of destruction and farce would be almost complete awaiting wee Davie at the helm when our demise is confirmed.

We're 100% going down this year. To give Lampard the Southampton game is ludicrous based on players showing effort. If he loses both Southampton and West Ham, they're not going to bed a new manager in for the next two tough fixtures, so that's a possibility of 0 on the next 12. Can't believe it.
So, between now and Southampton you reckon we can sack him and his staff and get someone else in plus staff and make these players then perform to the level of two victories? ?

Well firstly I believe he shouldve gone before world Cup. Personally I wouldn't have given him this season. And yes, I believe a new manager could implement a new, pragmatic game plan within the week. They're not going to get the chance of 6 weeks again, a week is good enough.
