We waited too long. Both Wolves and Villa recognised their managers were failing and sacked them to appoint two really good managers.

We're in the bargain basement now because we're in such an unattractive position. That said, I'd take Moyes back tomorrow.

I am repeating myself on this thread, but in the vein of those two hires and a La Liga correlation, Pepe Bordalas I'd maybe argue would be a better fit for us and our resources then Emery or Lopetegui. Similarly he is available currently. He'd be a hire I would welcome.

We beat West Ham and Moyes will get sacked but it might be enough to save Lampard, we lose to West Ham then Lampard is sacked but it might be enough to save Moyes.

The big worry for me is that prior to the World Cup we could've had a much bigger pool of managers. Now, given the results, league position, reduced time in transfer market and atmosphere around the club, we've limited ourselves to managers who are either a gamble or are desperate.

In the championship we’d have a huge finical advantage (even with the issues you quite rightly raised).

look at Burnley, they’re running away with it.

How did you work that out wev got the likes of Gomes and his 100 grand a week contract coming back to us in the summer how are we ment to pay that huge wage bill with out epl television money , more likely is that we’ll be docked points there is no positives getting relagated
