Maybe Moshiri's 'not my decision' comment last night referred to the FPP rules and how the powers to-be have us dangling on a thread -- just like when they allegedly made us sell Ritchie to balance the books.
It beggars belief that we have to carry on with a busted flush of a manager. If that was the case you have to wonder why Moshiri flies in.

Maybe he has a "Fat Sam" clause in his contract. If he gets fired 6 months after we stay up (as happened last year), he gets to keep all the haribo

To a large degree I agree with your summary but it isn't true to say he hasn't options.
We have seen the same ten players on the pitch week after week giving us passive sub standard performances.

He made two substitutions at half time and the game changed but it was too late by then.

He has excluded Gordon almost completely and questions must be asked if he has some part to play in the dramatic loss of form of the player.

We saw Maupay at Brighton and we know what type of player he can be but at Everton he is completely lost.

Tom Davies played well yesterday but has not really ever been used and I think Stanley Mills had done enough to at least get a run as a sub but he seems to have disappeared completely.

A good manager makes players better not worse imo.

As soon as I saw the team yesterday I expected nothing from the game as it was simply a repeat of what we have been seeing since August.

Sounds like he’s fallen out with Gordon a bit. Davies is hot and cold. Don’t know about Mills and managers always prefer experience but agree some of these youngsters should get some game time.

Agree that he’s been doing the same thing over and over, and he should change something but also have to admit that the bench is absolute dross which is why he doesn’t even bother making subs. Don’t really agree but this is what’s happening. Like Vinagre must offended the entire coaching staff to not get played.

Cutting your nose off to spite your face - sound business acumen.
Can't see it personally.
I think they generally haven't a clue on going forward, so are busily rearranging the deck chairs on the rapidly sinking Titanic.
Oh they definitely haven't got a clue either, but just thinking of all the managers they have sacked beforehand, all sacked for less.

Now isn't the time to start backing a manager for longer given our run, 3 wins in 20 games Jesus Christ, forgot what winning feels like

Makes no sense does it? Hasn’t been seen for well over year, randomly flies in for one match in London before flying out again and then a case of “crack on, as you were chaps”? nah, simply has to be more in it than that.

I’m not a fan of Abramovich and how quickly he axes managers, but Everton not sacking the manager is worse. They’re literally hanging Frank out to dry in front of the media while Moshiri cowardly says it’s not his decision. How hard is it to say “We’ll think about it and get back to you?” That’s the go to line for me every time.

This, I think they have made such a mess of the finanncial side of running the club that they are now backed into a corner with very little room for manoeuvre. This goes to the heart of their lack of competence as Board. All businesses should operate to a plan and have in place risk analysis with counter measures. It appears that the Board completely ignored these aspects of governance.

The judgement should come from his employers, the fans are irrelevant in the matter. He should be sacked for being bottom of the league and nothing else should come into it.
Correct Mike.

Just as Mike said above, plus our board are hapless enough to have written up a crazy contract for Frank for keeping us up last season.
I was all for giving Frank a chance this season but even with the limitations of this squad he should be getting more out of them and we should not be struggling plus his few signings leave a lot to be desired and do not appear to have improved the squad.
