FWIW I wasn’t distraught by the first game. There were signs of a decent side going forward if we get the signings in and get healthy. Plus the young fullbacks (our future) impressed me. I think we will be okay.

We defended corners well also.

Which was already happening last season towards the end - a few games where under pressure we'd clear for corners with no concerns. Good to see.
