We pay our players. At least allegedly.
If you don't have players who are close to the ability of your opponent then you will lose more than you win regardless of who is in the dugout.

We will always have fewer chances away at Tottenham. So if we dont take them then we are in big trouble.

The only time we have ever outplayed them down there in recent years is behind closed doors when it wasn't real football.

So you don’t watch our games then?
Because I see it different I don't watch?

There is still no passing structure in attack. Everything is wide and crossing. The midfield doesn't control games against anyone decent. The defending is still meh and mostly relying on the keeper for bailouts. It hasn't been that good. We're 14th and deserve to be.

They do not.

*sigh*

And if we finish 14th then its an improvement. I cant stress how big a hole we were in last year after the Benitez debacle

However a crucial element of that game whether real or not was that we tried to do so.

I understand we will try and fail, i prefer that to deciding on failure.

We don't have good attackers so don't attack is very much not how I'd fix the problem
Away to Spurs, the plan has to be keep a clean sheet and try to nick it. We can't beat them in an open game - they have too much quality up top - so the best plan is to be solid and hope they make more critical mistakes than we do.

They're also very solid, but they can be caught out from time to time, as we saw.

We're getting beat handily on Wednesday too.

All eyes on Palace at home.

I stil cant believe he let us go into the season with sicknote and Maupay thinking we'd be ok.

It's a bad plan. You gotta have more even if it doesn't work sometimes.

For example Brighton played Spurs and it didn't work but it was way way way more competitive and to me that matters.

This is what a good.... actually a great team is.... whilst the game has changed, the principles are the same, work hard, work together... awesome team, and memories - too long ago.
