Forgot that Almiron, welbeck, Murphy and gross are clinical finishers as well

Well you've named the weakest of all those sets of players for effect, but it doesn't change the point. Wilson (when fit in fairness) is far better than anything we have. Trossard far far better than anything we have. Our options are bottom 3 of the table, relegation level forwards.

If we had fully fit Dom, Gordon and a new quality winger we’d have scored more goals by now. Easy.

Don't want to go over this point again, but we knew Calvert Lewin was struggling with injuries and had a chance to replace him. The decision not to strengthen the front line is a big part of why we are struggling so badly to put the ball in the net.

Dom has flufffed many 1 on 1 opportunities

He’s good at getting his head at the end of crosses and set pieces and the occasional tap in from 6 yards out

I don’t think I’ve ever seen him score a screamer from outside the box except against someone like Rotherham in the league cup or something

Maupay’s goal against West Ham already eclipses any finish Dom has had for us

That's a suggestion the money was there for every position we wanted. If the choice was strength mid and wait for Dom vs replace Dom and have weak midfield, we made the right decision at the time.

Why does he have to have? van Nistelrooy never.

Still not convinced on that at all, but we'll know in 6 months. We stayed up last year because we scored more goals than the sides below us

And we can stay up this year not conceding as many as those below us.

Dom is getting back now, new midfield + him is better than new striker + no midfield. No question.
