Moshiri will be on manoeuvres for a new manager right now.
I suspect Moshiri is looking for a way out making sure he is making a profit also in the process. Probably for the best that we have a change of owners as not sure he would be spending in January.

He was too expansive and open when he joined and led to us being thrashed (Spurs/Palace). I think he’s been scarred by those defeats and has swung too far the other way. Far too cautious in the last 3 games. Need to be on the front foot from the start at the weekend.

Fair enough - I don't place the blame for our performances squarely on Frank - but I do think he insisted on keeping Gordon at the club, and that is the decision which may ultimately define his managerial career at Everton
As much as I think we should have sold Gordon, I'm not sure what Frank was supposed to say/do with very little of the window left. He couldn't have exactly said "well, everyone has their price", from a PR point of view he has to be seen doing everything to keep Everton's starboy at Everton. Praise him all the time then sell him looks a tough image to sell; assuming it wasn't a decision taken above his head.

Had that bid of been made a month or two earlier, giving us time to plan out a proper re-investment strategy, it may have happened. Few quid in the back pocket for a mad scramble in the last few days of the window was never going to happen.

Safe to say things need to change dramatically tactics like hitting long balls up to 6ft7 Dan Burn won’t really work and taking off your number 9 to replace him with a winger who needs someone to
Hit is mind boggling, I’m bored Frank , tired of losing and bored of seeing my team have less than 2 shots a game on goal.

Neither Sigurdsson nor James were our best players though. I mean most people didnt even want Sigurdsson in the team.

We sold a 60m goalscorer this summer. It's a different context.
Sigurdsson was easily one of our most creative players. And then there was James who was our most gifted. By miles.

I get that Benitez was a disastrously unpopular choice to manage our great club, but let's not pretend he walked into a garden. He was holed under the bow by the board - and then he managed to blow up what remained of the ship himself.

We just ignoring the huge influx of really good players he had? We’d play better football with a 50 mill Brazilian midfielder and a top international right back as well.
our right back is captain of ireland and we signed a midfielder from PSG who scored in the champions league against man city last season and won the african cup of nations for his country

its not like we've got bill kenwright and denise barrett baxendale starting for us

Shameful performance, shameful tactics. 1 shot all game is shocking. I keep hearing Lampard has improved us, not sure where this happened tbh. He is a tactically limited manager, we are more likely involved in a relegation scrap that moving forward with this guy..
If memory serves me right that is 2 win in 11. That is relegation form

I never thought results would be as bad as this bad this season. 2 wins out of 11 is absolutely pitiful. Not a single shot on target in 2 games on the run and conceded 3. We might not look as though we are playing as bad as we have in the past but that is completely meaningless if you don't win many games. The signs don't look good i am afraid.

Frank has done a few signings and we look like a Big Sam team with no idea how to play and hit hopeful long balls.

Make excuses but Howe has done a much better job.

He is because he's got more experience and spent well.

He came here he'd have none of that.
He'd have his experience.

His track record is far superior to the "face's". But many turned their nose up at him when his name was mentioned for our job. Any manager would struggle at this Everton under this owner, and I'm sure Howe would have too, but he'd have deserved more "faith" and time because he had a record. Frank has nothing but warm, fuzzy sentiments from his time as a player. I wouldn't sack Frank - but I wouldn't care if he walked out tomorrow. He's, basically, a nothing manager at a nothing club right now.
