Its amazing all the cliché thats been trotted around about how he gets us, he's great, Evertonians united by him, the next Kendall etc.

As groovy a bloke he is.. ultimately he's a bang average manager and the stats show this since he took over.

His subs/game management are really poor and he is too loyal to Gordon and Myko who both have offered nothing this season yet keep starting games.

Fans were hoodwinked cause he jumped up and down on the corporate boxes. Fact is he’s proving a bit crap. Hope he turns it round and something clicks for him l, as sometimes that’s all it takes, but I can’t see it.

Relative st

Benitez didnt have it easy either. But he walked into a squad that had got 59 points the previous season and the benefit of stability. It was a much easier situation.
Only on the surface. When your record signing is basically "disappeared", your most gifted, well-paid and best-known player is more interested in gaming on Twitch, and the club's finances are under invesigation by the Premier League, then the situation looks brighter from the outside. He walked into a landmine. More fool him for believing whatever snake oil the board sold to him during their five recruitment interviews. In the end, the common denominator is the board.

I suspect Moshiri is looking for a way out making sure he is making a profit also in the process. Probably for the best that we have a change of owners as not sure he would be spending in January.
If Moshiri really wanted to sell the club (and I'm not so certain he does), surely there'd be no shortage of interested parties given how many American investors have been eyeing the Prem of late. It must be towards a billion quid Moshiri's hooked for when you think of his takeover costs, player spending, stadium costs etc. Not sure what kind of profit he thinks he's going to get; it's not like a new owner would be buying a Chelsea or United.

You have to be honest and say Howe is a better manager.

He got Newcastle playing decent football in a matter of a few months.

Think that has more to do with the fact there's a Saudi TV deal worth millions that relies on Newcastle being in the league.

Since that TV deal came into effect Newcastle has gone from not winning a game to top 6 form and not being beaten at home since April. I dont think its coincidence personally.

He hadn't got a job for 2 years mate. He spent very poorly at Bournemouth by the end and got them relegated which tarnished his rep. Wasn't just us that didn't want him...a host of club's didn't.

However...when he got them promoted and kept them in the league, his stock was at what Potters was in comparison and I'm sure he was a shout to replace Martinez.

BUT are priorities were looking at top 4 and spending money at that time which he was never going to be front runner for.

We haven't got Lampard in for a "face" he's here to rebuild the club. So we should let him
Lampard won't rebuild this club. That's a delusion that suits all parties: the board and the fans. This ownership has already proven that it is incompetent and dangerously wild with the club's finances. When they need their blood sacrifice to placate those whose eyes are beginning to open, Frank will be tossed under the bus like all his predecessors. Mid November is flashing red right now...

He already is isn't he? New defence, new midfield, needs a new attack. Narrow defeats against sides better than us.

This point last season were getting rolled over by Norwich and Watford

He alienated James, which was stupid. He made a lot of stupid decisions really.

Sigurdsson wasnt a regular starter under Carlo. He was not as central as Richarlison. It's like losing Gomes this season.

If Newcastle score a couple more tonight then he is getting pelters.

Positives: He has connected the fans to the club again, has obviously decided to focus on making us solid this year and made some good singings to reinforce that.

Negatives: We look awful in attack, some of it is obviously down to poor players but he has to take the blame for some of it as well. He needs to find a style that makes us create chances. Atm I honestly don’t know what we are trying to do in possession - are we trying to move the ball wide? Are we trying to hit the striker quickly and get second balls? We seem to like an attempted diagonal ball but Haven’t got the foggiest.
