And from the fact that he kept us up despite throwing away a lead at Burnley with some of the most naive tactics you'll ever see.

Its amazing all the cliché thats been trotted around about how he gets us, he's great, Evertonians united by him, the next Kendall etc.

As groovy a bloke he is.. ultimately he's a bang average manager and the stats show this since he took over.

His subs/game management are really poor and he is too loyal to Gordon and Myko who both have offered nothing this season yet keep starting games.

Gallardo is out of work....

Stability of Bruce????
Relative st
Sigurdsson was easily one of our most creative players. And then there was James who was our most gifted. By miles.

I get that Benitez was a disastrously unpopular choice to manage our great club, but let's not pretend he walked into a garden. He was holed under the bow by the board - and then he managed to blow up what remained of the ship himself.

Benitez didnt have it easy either. But he walked into a squad that had got 59 points the previous season and the benefit of stability. It was a much easier situation.

If gerrard is under pressure at villa, why isn’t Lampard under pressure ??????
lampard has the privilege of having taken over a "broken" everton side which needs time to fix and the saving us from relegation last season gets him extra bonus points but every manager is eventually going to be under pressure if results don't start improving

He'd have his experience.

His track record is far superior to the "face's". But many turned their nose up at him when his name was mentioned for our job. Any manager would struggle at this Everton under this owner, and I'm sure Howe would have too, but he'd have deserved more "faith" and time because he had a record. Frank has nothing but warm, fuzzy sentiments from his time as a payer.

He hadn't got a job for 2 years mate. He spent very poorly at Bournemouth by the end and got them relegated which tarnished his rep. Wasn't just us that didn't want him...a host of club's didn't.

However...when he got them promoted and kept them in the league, his stock was at what Potters was in comparison and I'm sure he was a shout to replace Martinez.

BUT are priorities were looking at top 4 and spending money at that time which he was never going to be front runner for.

We haven't got Lampard in for a "face" he's here to rebuild the club. So we should let him

Very true.

We have one of the worst sides in the league and deserve to be in the bottom 6-8.
