A manager who got 5 points from 12 games wouldn't get support at a Fulham or a Bournemouth yet you expect Everton Football Club to support that. Pathetic. Worst manager I've seen at the club who had us in our worst run of form since the 1950's.

Will always put more blame on Moshiri for appointing Benitez rather than Rafael himself mind you. Everyone knew it'd be a disaster but him.
Yeah Moshiri was alsmot trolling us, he should of listened to Kenwright who knows this club better then anyone

FFS I can't count, and I work in finance..

It is a big difference. I'm fairly confident we will finish on 40 plus anyways, but as others are saying the whole club is so unstable right the way through that unfortunately the pressure is still there ready to explode if results don't come.

As mentioned expectations are low. Get us minimum 6pts more before the sham world cup and we will be a point per game. I'd be confident that the team will gel better over time as the spirit seems much improved, so with that and some activity in January window you'd expect a better pts per game average from Jan on which would be enough to see us finish with a bang average safe position.
Yeah I agree. I think it shows how fine the margins are in these things, being on track for 40 points would effectively only mean us being 3 points better off but I think that would make a massive difference to the perception of where we are currently, which seems crazy when you break it down like that. I said the other day if we had 20 points by the break (which now seems very unlikely but still possible) then i'd be going into the break feeling positive thinking we should stay up fairly comfortably etc, but less than 16 and it looks like being a very very tough slog. A win tomorrow would go a long way to settling people's nerves.

I dont blame the fans, I blame those who turned on the manager, real Everton fans support the Evertonia manager, its who we are, those who unjustifiably turn for none football reasons are merely passing through
You’ve just literally started a Match Theead with a sole aim of having a pop at the manager

We see through you, we know your agenda. That fat kopite pig got the respect that was warranted to him, no real uproar in the ground. And he bollocksed it up by himself because he’s a useless unemployed tit

But please, this is Franks time. He built us up from the ashes and is granted the time to sort this out after being failed miserably by our DoF - another kopite I may add

No its not! When have we ever been that?

Funny part is people turned on Benitez for footballing reasons as well as the non football reasons. His record was atrocious here and he was a busted flush for about a decade before he came here.

See you embarrass yourself with this stuff, Rafael has gone, move on, we have issues to deal with right now, worry about this squad, this fight, everything isnt rosey in the garden

Your saying we have always been a poor fan base? actually you might be right thinking about it

No mate, you embarrass yourself. See it’s you that swoons over the fat one. Hence why we aren’t returning your fan card

So lets have a reflection on the opening ten games of the season, I think it would be a good time for an update.
After 10 games this season we currently have the grand total of 10 points, on course for a 38 point haul with an average of one point per game
After 10 games LAST season under Rafael we had 14 points, thats four more then at the same stage this season (on a 1.8m budget), baring in mind if you subtract 4 points from our total of 39 last season it would of seen us relegated. We need to catch up quick

In comparison with this season Rafael had a decent opening run of fixture results, even though his 8th, 9th and 10th games were all losses to West Ham, Watford and Wolves and the fan base were in full hissy fit mode and tantrums could be seen not only on GOT but also any football stadium were Everton would be playing, hopfully the fan base this season actually support the team during hard runs of form and dont play a big part inflicting a relegation fight on the players.

Just realised, game week 11, if we lose this game we will be 5 points worse off then at the same stage last season
Now we have a real manager in Frank

I dont ignore it. I just know that the manager has the final say...especially when the DoF is not a major figure in the game.

The bottom line is that the manager carries the can.

I want FL to succeed as much as anyone, but I wont ignore the fact he allowed us to go into a season with zero fire power.

This stuff is just so weak Dave, it's laughable

You have a post written and ready to go entitled Frank Out, and the attempts to pretend you are supporting him are utterly transparent.

Most managers Moshiri chased had something on their CV to have some hope tho.

Koeman - 5th + 6th place finishes with Southampton playing some good togger and a couple of pots.

Silva - few pots in Portugal/Greece (albeit underwhelming at Watford after a few good results).

Alladyce - performances were crap but he did what he does and made us solid.

Ancelotti - great CV

Benitez - great CV

Lampard has none of the above unfortunately - bottled an FA Cup final against an Arsenal side famed for being soft bellied in recent years and failed to get a decent Derby side promoted. Currently has a poor win percentage as EFC Boss with performances not much better than last season.

If those who held Benitez to such high standards did the same with Lampard I would imagine there would be far less excuses being thrown around currently if we're going down the road of whataboutery.
That Derby team wasn’t even expected to get to the playoffs much less promoted so I wouldn’t call it a failure

Yes, but there was nothing unlucky about allowing us to go into the season with Calvert-Lewin and Maupay to get us goals.

The luck ran out the moment the summer window slammed shut. We reap what was sown.
Totally agree BUT we needed a whole new team!
I’m not cross that Frank has fixed the CB and CM issues at the cost of not being able to sort a ST better than Maupay as well, I’m cross that he was in a position where he needed to buy 2 CB, 3 CM and 2 ST in one window!
