Careful ?!It’s always the ones with Toffee or Blue in their name for some weird reason.
I don't mention this at all, if ever but Jimmy Martin is/was very close to a few of our "circle" and historically and now, Everton have a superb reputation for its warmth and approach to its "Everton Family" from my perspective we set the bar and on this we definitely lead and others follow. One of the things we as fans are not privy to is how the backroom staff at Everton work how welcome, or not, any new coach or player is embraced. My gut feeling is they are magnificent giving everyone a fair crack of the whip and support at every turn. I can't think of any ex emplouyee who says "what a snthouse club the place is a rats nest of intrique and politiking". For that reason alone I can see how Frank, or anyone, can fall in love with the place given the back stabbing industry football is.
If Frank says he's an Evertonian now not only do I see it as possible but extremely likely. In his short tenure he has experienced stuff he's probably not seen anywhere with fan engagement at a level unequalled at the point of greatest need. Carlo was here 5mins and vanished overnight but when it came to nailing the shte in the cl final he reminded everyone he was an evertonian.
I'm not one for false pride but speak to anyone involved in the game and the name "Everton" still invokes a warm reverance. We will never lose that, if Frank says he's now a blue I believe him.
