There isn’t many formations he can try using a 4 at the back, 433 was the go to and has stippled being effective, 442 is the oldest formation in the book and 4231 can only work against certain teams

I see what you are saying. I was just thinking we could give a 352 a go with Patterson and Mykolenko as wingbacks now and again.

To be honest Gray and Gordon/McNeil don’t cross anywhere near good enough or beat their man, and our 3 man midfield gets shredded by decent teams.

We’d also have another striker to try and share the burden (if we had anyone).

Lampard need to sort out a way to high press with a deep defensive line. The gap in between is too massive and far too easily exploited. Teams are beginning to see our weakness and it’s far too easy to play against us.

Can not believe he told them to be that slow coming out of defence, or for the wingers to not be arsed or put awful crosses in or for players to miss absolute sitters or for the midfield to be so lethargic....if he did, then he should go, if he didnt then the players need to take full responsibility

I think it was more down to Leicester sussing out how bad we are under pressure and who to close down.
