They aren't. Lots of expensive, long contracts after spending loads of money. They are heading to being in a similar position to we were 2 years ago

The Kenwright discussion needs its own thread, but in 1992 Everton were in the "Big 5" that founded the PL, we were the same level and size as Liverpool, Utd, Arsenal and Spurs.

In the time since all of them have played in a Champions League final, 3 have won the Premier League.

So why did we stagnate so badly in the time since? How far away from them clubs and other clubs popping up are we now? Who do you think is responsible for that?
