I’ll be honest, if we lose next week I think he’s gone. Where we go from there is anyone’s guess.
If we lose next week, he can have no complaints. Whether that's right or wrong is immaterial. It's the nature of the game. He'll have known that when he took over.

My list of possible replacements, tuchel or poch as dream tickets, both prob will say no, but worth a try ? Then maybe try Simone from AM, he needs a fresh challenge, but might need a break from footy. Otherwise I would wait for Martinez, reckon he will be available after World Cup. He’s better attacking manager than what we got now.

What happens when you appoint a proven manager really.

We appointed Carlo Ancelotti and some on here wanted him out because we’d dropped to tenth.

The fanbase won’t be happy unless a new manager comes in and gets us top 4 playing brilliant football. Anything other than that and it’s just a chorus of moaning.

If Lampard went tomorrow and we got the best class of manager we could hope for e.g Pochettino Enrique Mancini Zidane etc. then they’d all need at least the rest of this season to bed in, all of next season to get the team from bottom half to pushing into top half, and then the season after to really challenge and that’s if they don’t put a single foot wrong all under cost constraints.

I doubt some of the fanbase would even tolerate that now, it’s basically win every game or gtfo now.

Some basically want us to follow the Watford method, hire for a few months, sack, hire, sack, hire, etc
