That we are - but doesn't mean they have better squads than us.

I dont expect everything to hit the bullseye. The defence is far far better. That was a Start. I said when he came in it was a 3 year job minimum. Thats how bad i think things were.
Wether he gets that is hit or miss.

I know what you mean about giving Lampard 3 years, but it could be 3 more years of stagnation/even regression. I do actually think he will be given that time because we haven't really got any other realistic option.

I think there is a tendancy of hyping up teams around us - the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence syndrome.

I wouldn't say those clubs are any better than us. The likes of Pickford, Coady, Tarks, Patterson, Iwobi would currently waltz into their teams.

I agree here , the players argument can only ho so far as its basically a new squad

I might be wrong, but I don't think we're playing conservatively. We're just clueless going forward. Conceding the most shots in the league does not suggest conservative to me.

Other than the top 3, we’ve conceded the least amount of goals… I imagine most of the shots we concede are from outside the box

Martinez had us bottom half with Lukaku Mirallas Barkley Barry McCarthy Stones and prime Baines Coleman. Do you think he’d get anything from this lot?

What ever forward is fit up top.
Iwobi and Patterson right side gives us plenty of legs to get up and down the right.
