2022/23 Frank Lampard

I've asked this question several times now and only got one (laughable) answer so I'll ask again. To all the people that want Lampard out, who do we replace him with? Come on then. Lets have your answers?

What magical managerial option is out there we've all been missing who will transform this team? If you're going to say Thomas Frank (the Ian Holloway of 2022) like the one poster who answered me did then save yourself from embarrassment and just admit that there isn't anyone, that you're wrong and clutching at straws.

Think its important to be patient. Last thing we need is another new manager, what we need is stability!
People complaining about Maupay and Mcneil, surely they are an improvement on Rondon and other deadwood? In any case if we pooled that money from the 2 players who are we suggesting we could have realistically bought instead?
We need to be realistic we have not got a budget like Man ure or Shity where they can spend seemingly endless 80millions on players. We need to be clever and take a chance on people, turn them into better players and build a team that will fight and can stay fit!!

?
He's in the same position Frank is in, however he's had longer to create a team.

Shouts like Thomas Frank are absolutely laughable, they may as well say Hasenhuttl (which many did previously). If the board are stupid enough to fire Lampard this early in a season then they’ll have to ensure that the new manager is absolutely world class or we’re at more risk of going down.

This is not some top squad that is not turning up for a manager. This is a very poor squad that Frank has dragged good performances from. If he goes we run the risk of there being no new bounce and actually the likes of Iwobi and the back 4 could actually drop in level. It would have to be someone like Pochettino who would carry no risk in the prem and is a proven top class manager.

I doubt very much though any top manager wants to walk into a club where there’s a bottom half squad with no attacking weapons and hardly any budget available to improve it.

The dramatic nature of that win glosses over a lot. We could have stayed up with wins over Brentford or Watford but could manage neither. It took us three attempts to finally get the required 3 points, with the 0-0 draw at Watford very much an example of Lampard's ultra-negative tactics.

He probably doesn't deserve the sack just yet, but I don't think Lampard is 'building something' at Everton. He just appears to be maintaining a rather poor sub-standard record.

6 of that squad that beat Palace are no longer Everton players. 2 more a now squad players. 90% of that squad had played a few seasons together under 3 different managers to which barely got a tune out of.

He's replaced those 8 players and they've played 14 league games together. Yet people think someone else should come in after 14 games with practically a new team to....build a new team.

I'm no brain surgeon but that sounds stupid to me.

What Lampard did last season is completely irrelevant and only used for Benitez kopites to poke the bear with.

You will turn.

Thomas Frank...won the same amount of games as Lamps so far...same goal difference, more draws, has a 10-15 goal a season striker and a settled side.

Couldn't agree more. This is Frank's squad now. He signed off on 30m for Maupay and McNeil and there can be no excuses for that at all. 30m! That buys you a brilliant striker from the continent.

I think Wolves will actually improve a lot and finish around mid-table. I see our rivals as Brentford, Bournemouth, Southampton and Forest.

It's been a truly terrible start to the season and Lampard has to accept full responsibility for that. He'll be fired before too long as, at this rate, he's taking us down.
Please name the brilliant 30m striker on the continent that we could have signed last window...

Its important to have perspective right now. The fact of the matter is that we're just as close to 11th as we are the bottom three. So all the doom mongers who are acting like we're the worst team in the league. You need to wake up. Yes we're terrible but so is the whole bottom half of the table. We can and will turn this around.
