We end up having Onana push so far up he's like a CF at times. Just because he's big? Its so stupid, its out of pure desperation for having nothing of substance up front, and it leaves us with an Onana-sized hole in the midfield. Not to mention the lad gets pelters from fans for not being able to do much with it when it just gets lumped up to him.

He's box to box. I'd say Doucoure did the same and was arguably better in the box/attack.

Would probably work more in a 5 man midfield but then you'd sacrifice our already shocking attack. I mean, Garner, Iwobi, Onana, Gana as a midfield is pure Davey Moyes 2009 era.

He has 9 win in 9 months. I suggest it's you who have the memory loss. You are acting like this is a new blip. He has no visible plan and has clearly lost the dressing room
Newsflash: we are a terrible run football club with terrible players for the most part.

In the 7 months of football under Lampard that is what you are witnessing.

That's nice! But the problems are the same, and we have a manager with far less competence.

Such as?

On what basis is he the right man?

Could it be that we repeatedly employ the wrong manager?

Sean Dyche
In my opinion he is the right man for the job right now? I want to give him time. My opinion and I'm entitled to it.

Definitely could be the case that we employ the wrong manager, but maybe replacing him now is a mistake, and replacing him with Seam Dyce is a mistake nobody has a crystal ball here it's all opinion .

Lampard's record is worse than all the previous managers though.

He is a failure.

Should we have given FSW more time? Because to me thats what your claiming
Yes, we should have given him more time. But the difference is that he is an experienced manager with a fairly long and prestigious CV + that the underlying statistics were not as bad as the results suggested. However, it was a bad choice in the first place because it was only a matter of time before supporters turned against him and he had the odds against him all along.

All this clichéd stability talk is laughable. He took us over in the bottom 4 or 5, kept us stable in roughly the same position all of the last season and leaves us going into the world Cup break in the bottom 4.
So yes , we have got stability, just not the sort we need. Keep employing average , out of their depth manager's will result in the same set of results every time, the way to break this cycle is to show ambition with next appointment and let a competent manager finally sort this mess

I really can’t get on board with the Lampard worshippers who see it as:

Terribly run
Ok/Good manager
Terrible players

All 3 are terrible!!

I don't think the initial set up is about pushing Onana on as a CF, but he's just pushing both of them too high and it leaves Gana isolated on the ball. So as soon as we lose it, which we do because our forwards can't hold it up at all, we're all over the shop.

No it was toxic under FSW, he had to go and in fact should never have been given the job in the first place.

My argument is for Frank, he's young and learning, he's done his best to understand and integrate in to this club and they are trying to put together a squad that suits his style he can't do that in 1 window.

And in not saying the faith should be never ending, I'm just saying if we sack him now we just go around and around and never change a thing.

Not toxic at the end of the game at all then.

He just got destroyed in the last 2 games by a younger managerand someone with less experience who hasn't even had a transfer window.

We have the record of facing the most shots per game in the league and the 3rd worst for creating chances.

We are number 1 for playing longball.

His points per game record is worse this season compared to last season after having a transfer window.

Yes, but you have to base them on something?

Again, why should it be wrong to replace him with a manager with more competence?

I agree, he was an awful choice.

But, that choice is giving Lampard extra time.

Both have been awful and stains on our club.

My mate who works at the club says the players don't press as they don't want to get their kits dirty - can't pay the leccy bill

Kenwright walks around switching lights off

New stadium is made out of cardboard.

Christmas party is at the adelphi this year

They are scouting for players in Jan but the fax machines don't work

Club is wrecked
