A DoF could give him all the defenders in the world, but it wouldn't make any difference if Bobby wasn't particularly interested in doing any defensive coaching with them.

How we played in April was sustainable (or working really) either even with Richarlison

It wasn't sustainable though, because there's only so long you can sit back when there's no release valve.

We have no ability to hold the ball up top without DCL. And that's hit and miss too.

We have no threat playing that way if Maupay is the striker.
