Well it depends.

The attack absolutely is this bad and when you can't attack it adds pressure everywhere else.

I thought he'd come onto something against Palace (but they were bad) to get us back on track, because I do think in the derby, v Leeds, v West Ham and v S'ton (for half of it) we were decent and I could see what we're doing.

I think he's trying to compensate for the absolutely dross attack by trying to get more numbers forward, and it's just leaving us badly exposed. But it all comes back to just really poor recruitment in that area for me, and then a manager whose ideas aren't working - and the coaching isn't working - is compounding it.
It's not though. We're second lowest scorers in the league. That just isn't all personnel for me.

I really don't know where we go from here, but, here is a sobering thought, we have been beaten by an aggregate of 7:1 in 3 days by Bournemouth and Bournemouth reserves. I know that we had a largely second string team for the midweek game, but, I would not be at all surprised if our midweek team cost more and earned more than Bournemouth's first team.

I wanted Lampard over Periera and thought he would do a decent job here, I still think he has a chance, but, realistically, is Moshiri likely to keep faith in him? I really think Lampard is done here, it is a shame, but, I'm sure the club will take advantage of the 6 week break to boot him and get a new man in.

mate @nsno-chris has just given Gray, Gordon and McNeil's stats...

and Iwobi is having one of his best seasons yet has only scored one goal.

We do not have goals - or a consistent way of creating them - in this team.

On the latter part; patterns of play etc, I agree, we need better and that comes from coaching. But, we have really poor players who make poor decisions, so then it comes down to what comes first? Is it the patterns of play not being there, or is it that these players just can't implement them?

I'll give you an example, before we went behind we did a good move down the right that saw Patterson get in. He has Maupay to aim for and plenty of time. Maupay is 5ft8. For some reason, Patterson - with all of the time and space in the world - decides to power in a cross at about 6ft in the air, rather than just a ball into Maupay to feet.

I can mate, it’s the negligence and lack of planning foresight that runs deep through this club.

How a director of football can witness our inabilities last year, sell our only attacking threat and not replace him or what we needed in top of him, is scandalous
And to think, some people talk about him a-plenty like he's our saviour to be worshipped. Mind boggling.

I believe with better attacking plans we are fine. Not good but fine. 40 goals or so for the season. Enough to stay up.

His spreadsheets and whoscored.com tell him otherwise.

The man who said we shouldn’t move from goodison, having never set foot in it, is the all seeing oracle of football and everton
