Front page article - The Harsh Reality

Plenty of clubs are in that boat.

But these 'facts' - who is providing them and what are they being made to say...I mean everyone just accepts that some feller off the internet who wants shut of Kenwright is on top of all this and when he says we're going into administration then we are...well I don't accept that. Call me picky.
Fair to say we aren't in great shape when the evidence is out there we are essentially using payday loans to get through the coming month(s).

We are in an utter mess financially, the stadium has compounded this.

However, there also seems to be something else at play and I can't quite put my finger on it. Something is getting fed to the media from two camps; one is painting the picture that 777 are the saviours and anything other than them will see the club fold. And the other is painting the picture that this deal will never go through.

Again, with Everton it seems that there is an internal battle going that is being played out in the media.

Administration is a period of legal protection from creditors, essentially they are unable to get us declared bankrupt (and force our liquidation) whilst we are in administration and external experts (administrators) are brought in to temporarily run the business, determine whether they can get it trading sustainably and repay an acceptable amount to creditors and then sell the business as a going concern.

In some circumstances it can result in a reduction in total debt. Doesn't seem likely in our case.

Mostly, as with Wilko, it is a precursor to the end of all things.
Well if we go into administration, is there a football league for that? I can just see us and those Galactico’s Wilkos vying for top 4

...and from there it's concluded that we're headed into administration rather than seeing off a short term situation that will be resolved in December...

Hope you're right mate, hopefully we don't need any further loans during that time.

Whether you believe 777 to be vultures or not, they would not invest in a football club, who is about to go into administration. It would make absolutely zero sense, when they could get us a lot cheaper in administration.

Hello friend. I speak to you from the city of Belo Horizonte, Brazil. We are separated by distance and united by the passion, love and suffering dedicated to Everton FC. As you asked me, I will describe how I and the other fans here in America perceive your behavior. On game days, broadcast on ESPN here in Brazil, we didn't notice the 100% support of those who went to Goodison Park. IT IS A MYTH TO SAY THAT THE ATMOSPHERE IS VIBRANT DURING THE 90 MINUTES. We see on television many people sitting, just watching the match as if they were in a theater or in their living room. This attitude has to change... There is a lack of use of instruments at Goodison Park. Take the example of Cristal Palace. That's what I'm talking about... There's no noise to fight the opponents... More chants, more banners, more charges against Sean Dyche and the players. Glawds Street must be a powder keg. Here in Brazil we have organized supporter groups, when the club is in crisis, "every day" about 20 people go to the Training Center and take sound instruments, we demand vehemently from the managers and players... This attitude has an impact in the media and bothers the Club. YOU GUYS NEED TO BOTHER BILL AND FARAH. This has to happen every day... If we don't do our part, we'll go to the Championship. I suggest taking a drum and a megaphone to Goodison Park on match days. Wear a white shirt to stand out in the crowd. Soon, other E
vertonians will join this group. We could exchange many experiences and grow together, like TOFFEES. If you wish, this is my WhatsApp here in Brazil. A blue hug. +55 31

A big blue hug back to you buddy. Thank you for this sobering analysis and I hope Evertonians can appreciate it with a good humble heart. How would you rate local Evertonians in stadium from 1 (terrible) to 10 (best ever fans)?

I'd guess that Bill and Co are trying to save face for the mess were in and are leaking stuff to the cronies in the media, but they are even messing that up.

For me Everton Fc will be in a better place when that tit has gone and i dont care who takes over right now.
We are plummeting into relegation nd administration so whoever it can be any worse its actually impossible.

Why, when it won't have the capacity that the re-modelled Anfield will have ?

Exactly, if we'd done a Juve on it and were reducing capacity to half of what we had then they might want it for their womens team, but there's no way the womens game is growing to attendances being 50k+ any time in my lifetime.

If its sold, it will be to an events company or a financial institution, who'll rent it out to whoever can pay while doing the barest level of maintenance they can possibly get away with.

With the ever consistent William Kenwright in the middle orchestrating the conflict.
