If it means selling Keane for £20-25 million and his 90k a week off the books for a free player on 150k a week its essentially 60k a week increase for a 1 year deal.
FFP and budget wise it still would make sense to do that based solely on what we would make on Keanes sale which we likely cover Gabriel's transfer fee.
I think Silva will go elswhere like but financially it makes sense if we want 4 CB's than to keep Keane and lose him for a pittance next summer in his final 12 months of his contract.

True could see City spending that amount on him as they need a quality CB if they do or not due to the CAS ruling will be interesting to see
