Player Valuation: £50m
Definitely old enough to be slapping some keys on a keyboard and making up some rumours then eggs
She’d probably come up with more reliable “rumours” than some on here.

I just don’t think we are that desperate for a CB. If they agree our valuation, great. If not, we can get by with the current four now that Branthwaite has shown some promise.Pretty far apart, and I don't think that CB merits that level of investment. Good on Brands for channelling his inner Levy and holding the line on this one for the desired price.
As promising as he was yesterday, I still think it’s a big ask to start him in the PL at 18. For youngsters it’s one of the hardest positions to play in.I just don’t think we are that desperate for a CB. If they agree our valuation, great. Sure but I don’t think we are overly concerned with the position. If we can agree on a price with Lille, then I presume J-Rad gets sent on loan. If not, we probably won’t lose any sleep over it with the current bunch we have. There are more pressing concerns. As promising as he was yesterday, I still think it’s a big ask to start him in the PL at 18. For youngsters it’s one of the hardest positions to play in.
He would be fourth choice. He’s performed really well when asked. It’s time to grow a pair and plan his route into the first team. If we don’t, we’ll be selling him. If we sign CB then one of Keane or Mina will have to move on. I don’t mind that, but we need to be able bring Brantheaite through. As promising as he was yesterday, I still think it’s a big ask to start him in the PL at 18. Branthwaite has changed the equation.I just don’t think we are that desperate for a CB. If they agree our valuation, great. If not, we can get by with the current four now that Branthwaite has shown some promise.
I’m firmly of the belief that if they are good enough they are good enough. There will be growing pains. Sure. But he is built for the position and he has already shown enough composure on the ball. I haven’t seen a raw giant in the back line the past two games. I’ve seen someone that is ready to get some games under their belt.Branthwaite has changed the equation.
Gotta feeling if any of Keane and Mina are to be sold then it's Yerry, can probs fetch a decent fee, and removes reliance on a player with injury woes.
Would be more than happy with Holgate, Keane, Gabriel and Branthwaite as our CB options in a season without Europe.
I’d say the English factor means I reckon we’d be looking at £13-16m for Keane.
Villa paid £25m for Mings, and I think Keane is just as good, so I wouldn’t discount Keane getting an English bump up, just yet.
Exactly. A loan would be wrong. He has shown he is good enough for the first team. Why send him out?I’m firmly of the belief that if they are good enough they are good enough. We would only have to go and get another player in.
He shouldbe named in the first team as one of the four CB’s.
I think we’ve been pretty timid with our use of the academy players. When gaps appear we have preferred to use existing squad players out of position no matter how bad rather than promote youth.
If therdd red is one thing these last few weeks have shown, if a player is good enough, he’s old enough. As a result we have Branthwaite and Gordon as good first team options.
The deal is dragging on. If he doesn’t want to come we need to look elsewhere.
We went with three CB’s this season but we were light. He has only played 2 games tho mate.
He's looked very good yes and I wouldnt be totally against keeping him as the 4th choice CB next season.
But if we get a few injuries and we're relying on an 18 year old to be consistent in a position where any mistake usually costs a goal it could be dodgy.
The other thing to factor in, is will he develop more playing 10 games in the prem or 40 games in the championship?
