Fair play @Joey66, I started this thread without for one second thinking you'd provide advice that anyone could make sense of, however you seem to be doing a sterling job. Well done.
Five positive Rep points for you tomorrow Bungle as I have done my quota today as. I am a loving poster ......25 points a day always positive ......

You forgot to mention you were holding it with a pair of tweezers Bruce .... :D

Watching Gardeners World - Monty Don good grief his potting compost looks rubbish ......
He should have stuck to jewelry.......

Some of his methods are very weird imo

It must be bad if I struggle to watch him .....
Never as good as Geoff Hamilton or Alan Titmarsh imo.......

Just a few tips -
It's still not to late to sow salad veg in a greenhouse lettuce carrots etc Carrots sow thinly in a deep pot and on germination leave them in their final place do not disturb as the smell will attract Carrot fly also place your deep pot up high at waist height on an outside area when tall enough to avoid carrot fly.....
Also if you have one of these - instead of just using the expensive feed miracle grow in the hand dilutor us a mix of cheap bone meal SR fertilizer powder filling it a 1/4 full and stirring with a cane to water then fill up the container then plug on to your hose pipe your perennials in your garden

Always water well before any feeding any plant as the feed will hold in the soil or compost better or it will just leach through

Any advice on Lily Beetles Joey?

The only thing I've found that works is going out and checking the plants everyday and crushing the sods but I can't be arsed with that every single day. Instead I've just gave up on growing Lilies.
