No they will be fine mate, they usually need to go in a few weeks before the last frost and we are due another cold snap this weekend, they might need a bit of nitrogen from time to time but should grow fine.
Thansk Simon. I'm just germinating them now. Not too late ye think?

I dried out some habanero seeds joey. How will they fare in our climate do you think? And is it too late?
As long as you kept them around 8-10 c in a sealed bag they will germinate but sow mid April indoors in a heated tray they need 21 c to germinate cover the seed very lightly and spray daily to increase humidity keep indoors once germinated prick out the strongest ones into a small plug & grow on then transfer into a sheltered area when it warms up outside they are the easiest chilli to grow if your seed is duff don't worry you can pick it up cheap online plus it's not too late .....only sow if you have a tempreture to grow them in it has to be hot plus humid .....grow them on in the same way to get the best results Chilies are slow growers depending on our summers etc

A good tip for lawns when it warms up give it a good cut then lightly fork here and there to improve drainage the wait for a rain forecast and mix a multi-purpose compost in a big trug and sprinkle deep over any bare patches wait for seed to germinate and get to about 3.5 cm and cut the grass again on a dry day...

Got quoted £180 to remove my conifer tree stump. Could probably rent the machine for half the price. Anyone ever used one of the grinding machines? They look straight forward to me.

How about a garden that used to be basically a farm? How do I get it back to... Well, normal?

I hired a stump grinder for 65 quid and the gardener charged me another 60 to do the work but he is cheap. Also at the weekend there I got sent some photos of a guy who mangled his foot on a stump grinder, and when I say mangled I mean absolutely destroyed.

Joey, my grass has pretty much stopped growing. Can I just rake the ground and over seed it? I did try in autumn but think I was couple weeks too late when it was too cold.
