Gardening with Joey

Hope you don't mind me giving this thread a bump @Joey66
I'm looking to plant some form of climber to grow against my shed, both to screen it and to possibly provide future nesting opportunities for birds.
My first thought was ivy, but ideally I would like something faster growing. I'm no gardener, so don't want anything that needs too much care. The shed faces NE and is semi shaded.
Roses? Honeysuckle? Any ideas or advice would be gratefully received. ;)
Clematis Montana any varieties

Hi Kev.Joey is on the toilet at the moment and might be there for some time due to the anal explosion I have just heard.Chickpea curry got the better of him I think. In between porcelain splatters and groans Joey suggests Honeysuckle. He will go in to more detail when he picks his arse out of the bowl and I have Febreezed him down.Best wishes Rita xx
Steak and Kidneys sore today after the test at the hospital yesterday ;)

Looking at getting my garden flagged to replace the old corpy ones some amateur fitted before I moved in here. Does anybody know if they are worth anything to anybody to take for free or is it a skip job?

They’ll probably be worth something to somebody. It doesn’t hurt to stick them on freecycle or trash nothing freebie sites, if you can be bothered, especially if it saves you lugging down the tip.

Just remember you do get a fair few idiots and time wasters out there.

Nice one. Yeah was thinking a few shed companies may take them or builders yards who grind them up for rubble.

Thanks I'll bang them on.

@Joey66 might have them, as he’s building a prototype space shuttle made out of Dyson Parts and empty cans of chickpeas and he’s after something to act as a launch pad.

As I said just be aware of the idiots and tyre kickers just remember if they’ve not paid anything for them they’re not fussed if they don’t turn up and you’ve wasted an afternoon waiting in for them.

Oh and the ones who take a look and go ”well it’s not really what I’m after”. Even tho you put a full description, sizes, photos etc.

Having said that you can pretty much suss genuine people out after a couple of messages (a bit like on here).

Spot on, Gumtree is the absolute worst for that.

The selling bit on the likes of Facebook is a good bet.

Rare those flags modern ones rubbish lift them jet hose them pout a gravel down in stages then level off then use a heavy group master ground cover material pegged down then relay your flags use a massive rubber hammer with a 5_1 cement mix underneath dry mix .....take no notice of @COYBL25 he's been smoking the wrong stuff again lol
You could sell the flags for a small sum & atificial lawn grass the area .....still need the gravel and a whacking machine though ......

I believe there`s a family called the Wests in Gloucester, who`ll take any spare flags that are going Joey.

Didn`t you help them with some landscaping in their back garden in the mid nineties ?
