4 games he should be out for now. Hopefully a few wins, and he'll get shown the door. Too many times does his lazy tackling cost us, 10 bookings for a bloke who doesnt dive into tackles, shows how slow he is. Just waves a leg at them as soon as hes beat, cost us too many goals this year with bad passing at the back. Hes a shadow of the player last year

Imagine if we pick up a few wins and Martinez slots him back in.

This should be the end of Barry as a regular in the team, about time and all.

Really, really hoping McCarthy and Besic perform heroics against Leicester and Arsenal making it harder for Roberto to shoehorn him straight back in.

Having said that, if he performs well in the two europa games sandwiched in between, which by the way I hope he does, but have my doubts, he'l be straight back in the side regardless.

I feel sorry for him. He's knackered and it's blatantly obvious. When he's fit and on it, he gets the ball and one touch passes it instantly because he has a picture of what's going on. When hes not on it he's slow, takes 3-4 touches because he's doubting his instinct. Martinez's general. Every manager has them so they are blinded to see when the general needs to be pulled out of the firing line.

Pretty much sums up the current situation.
