That's the biggest problem Barry has. When another team's movement is good he struggles to keep pace with it. He can still read the game really well, that doesn't leave you however that first yard you have in your head unfortunately now doesn't make up for the 2 yards he has lost in his legs.

I think he should be used sparingly when the situation is called for. I would like to see him used from the bench against tiring players and when McCarthy or Besic have picked up yellows. He can still do a job but I think at this stage he can't be relied upon to starter every week.

I dont disagree with you, i want to see a besic, mccarthy, barkley trio. I was talking about the derby and i thought he covered really well but i also said he gave the ball away quite a bit too.

Well I suppose the simple fact that his job was to make sure they didn't score or create chances down the middle and they didn't so you aren't wrong.

Osman is miles better, so is Gibson, Barry is a clown. He's so slow that he's second to his own first touch. He is the one slowing everything down for us.

Cost us the game getting sent off, people may argue otherwise but with the subs we had made in particular gibson we were already inviting pressure and there was absolutely no need to flick out a leg near the half way line with the rest of the team already behind you in shape.

Well done Gareth you are finally giving the people what they want and not having you in the team for a bit, shame it takes him getting even more hate for a red card and costing us a game to make it happen.

4 games he should be out for now. Hopefully a few wins, and he'll get shown the door. Too many times does his lazy tackling cost us, 10 bookings for a bloke who doesnt dive into tackles, shows how slow he is. Just waves a leg at them as soon as hes beat, cost us too many goals this year with bad passing at the back. Hes a shadow of the player last year
