Its not even his lack of pace that worries me as he was slow last year its the fact that he no longer seem capable of getting the ball without losing it, he only negatively impacts the side these days ive not seen a positive for a while some could say west ham at home but 1 moment in the 90th min when attacking doesnt make up for the parts lacking when defending.

I put in the match thread earlier on he cemented his place as the Phil Neville of the martinez era today, he no longer deserves to be playing in the team yet gets picked out of favouritism, him playing today was bobbys only way of getting besic, mccarthy and naismith aka the 3 workhorses into the team alongside barry and because of that the entire system was awful and its holding back a player who needs games to refind his form (barkley)

Second half he gave the ball away or was caught on the ball more than Barkley would be and unlike Barkley who can still offer moments in attack all barry does if he plays bad in our half is have a stinker and cause us to play on the back foot.

Was happy to sign him after the season he had last year but so far hes turning out to be one of bobs worst signings imo.

He was awful again, a real liability. Simply too slow on the ball and gives it away too often. That mistake he made where left it for Sterling, very lucky we didn't concede from that.

he can still do a job, just needs to be a bit part player filling in every now and then to use his experience. would much rather have him and his experience as backup than gibson who's hardly ever fit. besic marked bale out of a game last year and did pretty much the same to messi in the WC - prime candidate for DM for me, the kid's a star.
